If there is one hero in Overwatch that doesn’t require any skill whatsoever it’s Junkrat. I have died hundreds of times because of the enemy teams pathetic spammer Junkrat who wasn’t even moving, just left clicking and shooting away. I as a noob did this to climb xp with kills but I believe he needs some sort of damage drop from his bombs and as well as less time in the trap. He is always that one hero who gets on fire after 30 seconds into a game because of his endless spamming crap. I have read countless forums with the same request but please BLIZZARD!!! NERF JUNKRAT!!! He is extremely broken and needs a change!!! PLEASE!!!

if you struggle with junkrat you should try to switch to someone that can take him down with ease (perhaps a Genji or long-range type hero) and it should be easier to take those rats down
How about you pay attention? If you see a Junkrat just spamming one point standing still, it really is not the Junkrat that lacks the skill here.

junkrat does not need a nerf, he just recieved one making him harder to play effectively, if you are having a hard time against junkrat then it is because you do not know how to play against junkrat, avoiding his bombs is not a difficult task and skilled junkrat players don’t just spam, if you are dying to a spamming junkrat then honestly you just need to learn to counter him

Why do people do this?
There is a new hero on the PTR, three heros just got buffed, lets see how those changes to the game affect all heros and then let Bliz decide who needs changes. Its safe to say they are fine with Junkrat right now since they have not said anything in ANY of these posts crying for nerfs.
Junkrat doesn’t need a nerf, your playstyle needs a change.
Per David Serlin in “Playing to Win” -
“The scrubs will play “for fun” and not explore the extremities of the game. They won’t find the most effective tactics and abuse them mercilessly. The good players will. The good players will find incredibly overpowering tactics and patterns. As they play the game more, they’ll be forced to find counters to those tactics.”

Junkrat spam is only really an issue in choke points with a non-aggressive team. Push through quickly, and in open areas he’s much easier to handle.
People in low ranks shouldn’t use the word “skill”.

I love shredding Junkrats as Widow. Oh, it feels so good.
The only change JunkRat need is his ult charge. He gets its way to fast.

You’re dying a lot because you’re out of position. Behind cover is where you should be when you know there’s a Junkrat on the team. Or, you can pose as a distraction, and have someone else kill the Junkrat. Also, if he is not moving, more than likely, he’s firing in one specific position. Move out of that position, and then go on.

The time in the trap is small enough. It’s about 1 and a half seconds. Usually, there will be a mind near it or under it, so shoot it. Also, watch where you’re going. You see a trap on the ground, shoot it. You see on one a stack of stairs, shoot it before going up. These rookie moves can easily make you not die to the old sticky trick.

Most of the Junkrat’s I’ve seen barely get fire at all in a game because either their pro Genji steals the fire from them or they just aren’t doing their job. Not all Junkrat’s are good instantly, you know?

If he were as broken as the forums said he was, why does he has a low pickrate in high tiers? Why does Junkrat have a crosshair if he’s such a no-skill? Why do players who play him need to aim when playing him?
You’re destroying your own argument by stating exactly what is wrong with it. No offense here, but you sound like you lost a game because of ONE Junkrat players who was probably steamrolling you. Get better at the game, learn how to get into better positions to avoid being damaged, and keep playing. Junkrat is fine. Leave him alone for once.

you want a nerf because A. you suck at the game, or B. you suck at the game and want to whine about it on the forums.
