I get that new heroes need to be beyond busted so people can play and enjoy them, but it’s been long enough now, ya?

Go hitscan, she is allergic to them.
Also for a new hero she is quite average.

Personally I don’t find Echo OP. In fact Echo is pretty squishy.
I do think that they need to do away with the iframes for the ult and if she dies during the duplication then she should just die as Echo.

Just like your hitscan aren’t good, neither are the enemy echoes. Just do better on your own. I guarantee echo is not op unless you let her be.
I’m gold/plat as well. She actually gets easier to counter the higher your elo is. As you tend to get better hitscans the higher you go.

In my opinion they should only nerf her ultimate. Getting two bobs or two earth shatters in a few seconds can be a bit too much.
Echo has been underpowered since her release, but really every Projectile Dps is underpowered atm. 
Pick a Hitscan if you’re Dps.
Pick Mercy/Ana/Zen if you’re Support.
Pick Roadhog/Sigma/Zarya if you’re Tank.

I said PEOPLE, not ME. The “I’m in X ELO” excuse doesn’t work if someone from your ELO has accounts of people in that ELO dealing with Echo. That was the point I was trying to make, not that I was better than you.

Echo is underpowered if anything. Her nerf needs to be reverted so she doesn’t have to over extend to keep confirming kills or bust down shields.
Considering that every hit scan pretty much wins the Echo fight, and even one projectile hero, Torb, can nail her out of the sky AS WELL as just deny her an area with his turret I’d say just play him if she’s such an issue.
Even if you can’t aim you can just shotgun blast the sky and combo with your turret to kill Echo at that point.
If you don’t like hitscan try Torb, sometimes it’s hard to deal with the turret when is not in an easy spot for Echo to destroy it, and Torb is really good

Echo is mediocre at best at your rank.
Realistically, you probably just had an ugly run in with a really excellent player. She’s not overpowered right now.
lets be real here. shes huge and there isnt a hitscan hero bar bastion that isnt at minimum very good.
shes definitely the best projectile dps in the game and will likely seem very strong when, i mean if hitscans get toned down.
With hitscans being weaker, duplicate doesnt become much stronger. shes also pretty loud so being sneaky isnt a great option compared to the other flankers. Also shes pretty straightforward in her gamplay loop. its obvious what she wants to do and when. the skill lies in how effectively players can execute.
she has more counterplay than any dlc hero theyve added. shes strong yeah, but she is by far and away from being free and has to work for all her value outside of her ult which by its very nature requires immense gamesense.
you have a genji profile pic. anyone who plays genji should DEFINITELY learn her and learning her means dealing with her will become second nature as well when you have a much stronger grasp on the heros capabilities.
Just make it so that she isn’t invulnerable at the start of her ult and she’s good IMO.
