Please make googly eyes strictly optional

I just started up the game to play a bit, but honestly those (probably aprils fools?) googly eyes are just SO. DAMN. UGLY.

There’s nothing fun or entertaining about them for me (and probably plenty other people), but every time i saw a characters face during the two matches i played I was just put off by how ugly and wrong it looks. It totaly breaks the flow of the game when that happens.
Instead of anotmal face you get those oversized, floating planes that match nothing about a characters proportions, nor seem to be really attached to a player.

TL;DR:
To each their own, but if you ever do osmething liek that again, make it optional with a checkbox to turn it off for the peopel who don’t want it.

Fun? A sense of humor? In MY game??? NO WAY!!! This is game is incredibly serious and DESERVES the UTMOST respect!

Aye. Not like I specificaly said to each their own, and simply asked them to provide a checkbox to turn it off for peopel who don’t like it.

I mean, because obviously everybody has the same things he finds funny, and so everybody must like googly eyes because he/she/it finds them totaly funny and absolutely not breaking the normal flow of the game. Which, you know, people played before googly eyes even though they didn’t have fun with the game obviosuly…

In all seriousness, for me it’s not simply that it is unfuny, but that it simply breaks the flow of the game FOR ME (not everyone, which is why i DID NOT ASK THEM TO COMPLETELY REMOVE THEM, btu merely give us an option).
You know, the flow of the game that I play because i had fun with it beforehand

I get that it’s distracting, but they aren’t likely to go through the trouble to program a button to opt out of a joke that will be over in 24 hours.

You know, didn’t even notice that. at the time i was playing it was a bit after 22:00 for me too (CET), so they got the dates wrong. And isn’t the US behind Europe times wise? They where what, 16:00-18:00 when it went live?

Which is strange considering i was fairly sure they mostly did timezone adjusted content. Might just be my memory playing tricks on me tho.

The eyes are ruining my enjoyment of the game. I want to admire the amazing skins I have unlocked/paid for and they have these stupid eyes plastered all over them ruining them. This has ruined my weekend.
