Edit: Ok, I can rebind it…I know. But what about my team mates, who randomly emote and get kileld? I can´t control that.

Is there any walid point of you, defending emotes not being cancelable?
Unbind all emotes from your keyboard and only use the communication wheel for them. No accidental emotes that way.

You have access, through the communication wheel.
Open the wheel and press right mouse button, you find your emotes there.

I used only the communication/chat wheel for the longest time.
The reason I stopped? Because I would go to say hi to someone, but would accidentally pull out a #@*$ dance emote 
Now my four sprays are my F keys up at the top of the keyboard and my emotes are the arrow keys 
Just bind them to anything that is away from vital commands.

I unequipped Hanzo’s “Itadakimasu” because that emote literally takes 20+ seconds and you can’t cancel it.
If you could easily cancel it, people would use them to peek around corners too easily.
No opportunity to peek round the corner unpunished can be allowed

You can peak just by using your camera.
for the sake of my amusement, next hero buff will provide 50% defense bonuses while emoting, this way my teammates cant elim you the moment you misclick, not until after ive hugged a random ^O^ heart emote back on to you
being able to emote at any time and cancel at any time can promote emoting on kills more which is sometimes considered toxic, keeping it restricted prevents toxicity. also missclicking is a skill issue just dont missclick or rebind emote if you really struggle, for people that accidently emote through the top tab on the comm wheel you can change the comm wheel to whatever you want, ive replaced the emote slot with “go”
Yeah its so dumb that it takes 24 years to cancel a emote.
Bruh everything is considered toxic at this point. They literally have a salt emote so I don’t think that should be considered toxicity.
Set your emote to the most random input you could ever imagine.
