Please leave my hero alone

I have a feeling you haven’t actually played him… Doomfist is much more of a deadweight when he’s bad than a genji, and doomfist can easily feed.

Doomfist had a higher skill floor, yet a lower skill ceiling in my honest opinion, mostly due to his hitbox size and the way his combos must be done in a very specific order.

I have played doomfist a lot actually, he was my favorite hero to play when Genji was already taken before his nerfs.

His dash no skill. Ult no skill.

How about instead of just making blatantly false claims, you actually support them.

Swift strike is an escape and engage, since when are they intended to take skill.

Dragonblade is among one of the hardest ultimates in the game to successfully pull off due to how much counterplay it has. Most ultimates are press Q and forget, but Genji has to be in melee range and be mechanically competent to pull it off.

Doomfist himself was bigger, along with being quite a bit clunkier. With doomfist you have to decide which abilities to use for getting in and which to do for doing damage, while then also deciding which ones may or may not be on cooldown and when to get out. Genji is as simple as farming ult from long range, dashing low health targets, and dashing back out due to dash resets. I’ve played plenty of both, doomfist is definitely harder

Ok well you have your opinion, I have mine.

I could also argue Doomfist has a one shot and had loads of CC, and could generate enough shields to be 400 HP, but I’d rather not debate this further.

I think we should stop this here, as neither will change the others mind.

nanoblade should be nerfed…
and dashes needs a tweak down.

Im wonder why genji is always top3 if he is so balanced! And he is top1 right now in GM.

Doom wasnt even top1 and people said he was OP. Genji is constantly there and Genji’s says it’s just because he is fun to play. So as doomfist, tracer, sombra…

The difference between us is Bias.

Well you have your bias, and I have mine, so we’re even.

No need to continue the dispute, let’s agree to disagree so we don’t waste time or energy arguing meaningless points.

Oh wow, so unfun to play is still an argument that works and you don’t want your hero changed against your will. Imagine if this happens, Genji would be the first hero in this history of this game that was changed because people unjustly complained about him and made him unfun.

Crazy right…

I’d like to point out your name is “Genji”. We both play the same hero dude, the higher you go up the harder it is to play doomfist. His learning curve is substantially higher

Well, OP’s argument basically boils down to Doomfist and Brig were not fun to play against, so nerfs were justified. But Genji is fun to play against so you would not need to nerf him.

Not saying that I am disagreeing with you. But following OP’s opening statement being not fun to play against justify nerfs. Which I pointed out would give the reason to nerf Genji.

Not that I am suggesting that he should be nerfed.

Although I do not agree with the presentation of his points, I will say this.

To this day most of the other medias that are not the forums find that Genji is in a balanced state, it’s only these forums complaining about him, which does have stigma of bias.

Doomfist and Brigitte were complained to Blizzard by multiple forms of media, I’m sure none of them wanted the heroes gutted this bad (#DeleteBrig though was unjustified)

I’ll disagree with that, but I really don’t want to continue this argument as we both have our opinions on our heroes.

My name is “Genji” yes, but that was back then when I used to be a tad more on the toxic and biased side, and if I had a Battletag change available I would like to rename myself to “Frost”.

Well in the OP’s case, I agree that Genji does not need changes, but I disagree with how he defended it.

Then we are essentially 100% on the same page.

She used to, but they removed it. Which was good, because with falloff her icicles were too weak.

DF always took skill to play, he was just dumb.

Genji has gigantic, Mac truck sized dash hit box, an even bigger hitbox on blade, and is essentially a brain dead blade farm hero right now. What skill are you talking about?

And you’re a toxic forum-goer trying to over-exaggerate points that aren’t even true. What credibility do you have seeing as you barely play him?

Actually play him for more than 3 hours, he takes a lot more brains than you think for sure.
