This is also assuming everyone under the umbrella term “disabled” plays Symmetra. Sorry to say but overwatch isnt gonna balance the game based soley on a small minority, if your not willing to just try out the other low aim or low skilled heros your the one denying yourself the experience.

Every single hero requires the same skills as Symmetra as well as more specific ones. Symmetra is literally the lowest common denominator.

And if you play 2 out of those 4 you still get bashed on by the elite hit scan mob for playing “no-skill” or “op” hero.

Anyone else find it really funny, that suddenly when Syms auto-aim beam is abot to be taken away, that all Sym mains are physically disabled. So much so that the game is apparently unplayable for them, without Sym’s auto-aim beam.

It’s cute you had to come here to troll because your original post didn’t get any traction, but for the record, being disabled is usually not something - especially on the internet - you disclose unless it is relevant and it matters. Which hey, this potential change to Symmetra’s primary is relevant to me as both a Symmetra fan and a disabled player!

Play a different hero, or leave.

No one cares, and is obligated to care that you are disabled.

I only care in so far as I’am tired of seeing these threads pop up, and stay up.

But if you want to keep flipping your Victim card by all means please do. Just remember, not every game is for every type of person. If loosing AUTOAIM is going to cripple you in this game, perhaps this game isn’t for YOU.

I’m not physically disabled, I just dislike the action of aiming and prefer to focus on other gameplay aspects of the match. Since many other FPS games focus more on gunplay that everything else, I don’t play those games. I play Overwatch because I can help my team win while doing stuff beyond aiming.

Regardless of that, it was pretty obvious that Symmetra’s Photon Projector is a perfect fit for an accessible weapon. Do you remember when Jeff specifically said that one of Overwatch’s objective was to give people more options than plain aim?

What we talk about when we are discussing things like non-twitch options is giving you other things to do besides put crosshairs over targets. We know not everybody is great at that, and that’s what drives people out of a lot of the other shooters. (…) but we want to welcome everybody into this universe in a lot of different ways; and one of the ways is making sure that we have playstyles represented.

A small amount of Symm players are voicing their input and you just assume every Symm player is now disabled.

Absolutely agree with this. It’s increasingly evident since about the time of the D.Va “rework” that the devs have as their focus the OWL and the top 1% of players. It sucks, since as you say the non-pro players made the game as popular as it was, and that was largely due to the game’s accessibility and inclusivity-focused design, and they’re betraying the trust of those players each time they do this.

Let her changes come first. They said it’s like Zarya’s laser, but that it’s larger. Who knows how larger it is? Maybe it’s even easier to get kills than it is now? And the turrets are improved, the teleport is improved, so the tactical and strategic strengths are improved too! :smiley: (I bet good teleport placings would be a hell of a game changer even if you can’t get a lot of kills with her)

If her m1 is as fat as moira’s ult you have nothing to worry about aiming.

If it’s as clunky and unwieldy and “heavy” as Zarya’s, especially requiring 6 seconds of perfect aim to reach max damage, yes I’m afraid I will :frowning:
