Therr are so many players ppl dont want to play with as teammates. 400 or higher be the solution for alot of things in overwatch

Still doesn’t mean we need 400 slots. That would make the trash matchmaker even more rigged.
Let people have infinite avoids. If they avoid the entire server then they just won’t get any matches

I think that the main reason they don’t increase the slots is the hidden “revenge” mechanic where you usually get matched with an “avoidee” if you que up at a similar time after the match. Having an infinite list would allow you to farm SR vs the trolls and not really play competetive matches. I do think that they should go to about 10 avoid slots, but the reason might be even more superficial - it is hard to fit within the current UI design of that screen in OW.
I’d like ppl to explain how this rigs the matchmaker tho, since all it does is not match you with a player in your team (they can still be an enemy).
Even 10-20 could lead to really long queue times. 12 people avoiding 20 people each really limits who can end up on what team.

it should be percentage based. if 3 people is 0.001% of the active population in GM and low bronze, then people in Plat and Gold should also be able to avoid 0.001% of the active population
I say give Silver-Diamond 5 slots. and keep the rest the same

Increasing avoid slots increases queue times for everyone, even including people who have no one on their avoid list.

Eh, personally, I could do with 30 and remove the 7 day time limit.
Slinkywheel and Jkap must ALWAYS be avoided.

Increase the number to 5 or something. Maybe even 10 would be okay, not more than that.

I once saw a pop up on one of my alts after i clicked the comp card that said “you have been marked avoid as teamate too many times and may experience long queue times” then the matchmaker immediately sent me to game and i never saw that pop up again.
why? chances are extremely high that the player you avoided 50 mins ago…is no longer online or even in the same sr rank margin as you…i can understand say 5…but 400, at that point it may as well be 50 million.

I’d like to keep my queue times as low as possible thank you very much. I wouldn’t mind an increase, but you have to remember that it will increase the queue times for every player, regardless of whether or not they even use avoids.
You can do it, just delete the game, it will do the same for you as you could have 400 avoid slots, you will never get into the match with these conditions.
