I was just playing a competitive game getting my placements done and my ping started to get really high and my game was lagging, it was fine but after a few minutes everything was freezing and I disconnected from the game so i exted out of the game and went to press “close application” but then the game was just gone.
I checked my library and it is not there, I also checked my download list on the PS website and everything but OW is there.
I bought the digital version of this game at the end of last year, not the disk version. All of my trophies are saved, so I should be able to get the game back right?
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Sounds like that would be something on the PS4/Sony’s end, since I’m not sure anything on Blizzard’s end would affect your actual possession of the game, just access to it and your aforementioned connection issues. I would put in a ticket with Sony’s customer service since anything regarding games on your PS account would be exclusively dealt with by them.
You almost certainly hit delete on the options menu rather than close, it’s easily done. But yes, you can download it again, just go into your library. Make sure you’re signed into the PSN account that you bought the game on, and also that you’re checking the correct tab. If it’s not installed it’ll only show up under the Purchased tab, not Games.
I literally said it is not in my library.
2 years later - same issue.
GOTY edition gone from PS4. Not in library, not anywhere else. Any luck figuring it out on your own since Sep’18 as I see the topic is dead?
Hey Tom,
Since PS4 purchases are done through Sony/Playstation, it’s not something Blizzard is able to assist with. My best advice is to contact them directly to verify what happened with the purchase.
I do hope the info helps. If there’s anything else you might need just let us know.
