It’s about getting to play what you want to play in a structure that supports it. Most games without role queue had people playing heroes they didn’t want to play because if you don’t queue up for a certain role, the game doesn’t match people well. You have people who want to DPS playing tank or support, or sometimes a support playing tank, or whatever.
Now, you have two people who want to tank playing tank, two people who want to DPS playing DPS, and two people who want to play support playing support. While you lose a little bit of the creativity of non-222 comps, people get to play what they want to play along with others playing what THEY want to play. This is just a better experience for everyone.
Surely I’m not the only one who spent many games going “OK, I’ll play this for now because I want to win, but hopefully the next game I’ll get to play something I actually enjoy”.
Now, EVERY game is one I get to enjoy what I play.
I don’t mind role queue. What I do mind though is a broken system that overrank people on their secondary and tertiary roles (the ones they never played prior to 2-2-2).
Outside of that, I’m open to any positive and functional changes ! If they don’t deny the core of the game, it’s even better !
Blizzard said that they have a LOT of balancing that they have ready. But they didn’t want to spill it out all at once, because that would be too much. So they have waves of balancing rn. The brig “rework” and the other changes were the first wave of balancing. Blizzard said that soon the ptr will have the second wave of balancing.
You call me a trash widow, but I clicked on your head
he enjoy it because he is one of those that leaves healer and tank for going dps. he is the guy that rather not go healer or tank and starts cry after 30sec about change. now he cant and he probably aint as good dpser he thought he was and he problaby having hard time actualy playing in a 2-2-2 teambased invornment.
And so was I told on PTR beta “You’ll see, it’s gonna work on live beta on August 13th”.
What will be the excuse when this doesn’t work on September 1st ?
“Oh it takes a couple of months to see that this system works fine, be patient”, right ?
Just don’t, please and stop lying to yourself. If you were all honest, you would acknowledge role queue in its current is problematic and make a lot of people worry (with good reasons).
It’s a large change, were you expecting everyone to be in their proper skill buckets within the first week of release? You sound like someone who is familiar with software development.
