Stop putting solo players in groups teams and against group players. Please make a solo queue. I like this game but comp solo queue needs to be introduced. or… have match making fixed? Get rid of wide queuing

Literally a skill issue.
I (a bronze player can match with anyone in metal ranks. Because to get out of those ranks what do I need to do? Show I understand the basics.
Once you get out of metal ranks the “wide queue" is so tight it reminds me of my ex.
I have a friend, in comp they constantly just hit or are just under masters. However they can’t play comp with any of us. Because the queue would be to wide (unless they play support..cuz there they are unranked…but they never play support so that argument is pointless)
It’s not an issue and doesn’t affect your games as much as you think
Edit: wide queueing is a good compromise that cuts down on smurfing
Valorant is the primary example for Smurfs running things there because good players have no other options for playing with their friends
very simple solution: quickplay
the more chaos and randomness, the more fair it is for everyone
give in to the quickplay warrior agenda, let it consume you
I often watch my friends play this game.
I’ve seen a wide match of Bronze 4 to Diamond 2.
I can only assume this happens because of wide groups trying to boost their low-rank friends.
A solo/duo only queue would do wonders to (hopefully) make this not happen.
Getting matched with and against groups is nothing new. Stop blaiming non-issues. Deal with it.
Wide queues should be very rare when you are solo.
Solo que fixes nothing, it just means players will blame poor games on something else instead of finally admittong theyre the problem
Stacks, solos, they all have their issues at the end of the day though it comes down to the player
A solo queue would mean longer queue times and a smaller matchmaking pool for everyone for no meaningful increasein matchmaking quality. In fact, the smaller pool of players would mean wider matches on average. Group dynamics don’t matter nearly as much as people think outside the highest ranks, which is why they have group size restrictions.
