It’s the biggest reason why new streamers don’t keep playing ow after they tried it. Most don’t know what’s going on and even streames like Xqc complain about it all the time. Hopefully ow2 addresses it

Moira ult, winstons gun, bright winston shield, yeah it annoys me alot. There is a visual mess issue, i hate going in a FPS game “what the -expletive- am i aiming at?”
Friendly hanzo dragons also a hindrance of a ‘smoke screen’

yeah, my poor brain can only take so much. tesla cannon hurts my eyes, particle cannon hurts my eyes, a hundred million status effects going off, moira in general
but there’s also really really bad audio clutter and unnecessary sounds, like being hacked deafening you, or the beeping from anti-nade, or the whirring of every individual gear in orisa’s body
i love the team’s dedication to making the game come to life but there really are too many stimuli, it hurts to keep track of everything

I think if this was a single player game nobody would complain because the detail put into this game is just at a hole other level
I think I’m gonna say I agree there’s too much visual clutter, but I got used to it after 4 years
I think role queue is also a reason

Yes, visual AND AUDIO clutter are both horrific. The game needs a massive rework and it’s sadly not a topic talked at all. At least give the option to disable certain effects/sounds.
Please, I don’t wanna hear Doomfist’s grunts, it distracts me from the game, I should have the option to disable it. Also if they gave players higher FoV options, it would help a lot with the visual clutter!

There are SOOO MANY visual clutters in this game right now. Especially the glare on the Halloween maps. They are so obnoxious… Imagine playing widow through these visual clutters.

To be honest Winston’s gun is the most common and reoccurring thing that blinds you and that is not an ability or an ultimate. Moira’s beam used to do that to which made it hard to aim at her. Winston still does this and makes it hard to see your surroundings.
It’s not OP but just imagine if the gun didn’t really blind you as much.
Visual clutter is the least important issue that OW has lol.
Wintson is probably the biggest offender but that is about it.

Depending on the meta, visual clutter can be quite overwhelming.
OW is a very messy game
All beam heros except mei are eye sore.
The game would look so freaking clean if it wasnt for the beamers.
There needs be a way to reduce or change the color of special effects of abilities. Some of the healing & dash effects are too much for my eyes.
