I got a triple and a quadra kill with reaper blossom but the potg was a moira ult that killed one person, while showing my quad in the killfeed
please explain how i did not get potg

I kinda think supports are more likely to get POTG more or something.
Not necessarily a bad thing for Heroes like Mercy and Ana, but I find that Moira and Brig are getting them a lot more lately.

First off, PotG has been known to screw up so it could just be that.

But I do think this might also be happening. I got my first ever (99% sure it was first) PotG as Mercy recently and it was not very impressive.

Not at all what I remember other people that have gotten Mercy PotG saying you had to do to get it. Something like kill 1 or 2 people yourself, rez, and be healing. All I did was boost an ulting Pharah, rez a team mate, and do some group heal cuz I was in Valk.

POTG goes to whoever got the most “on fire” points in a 10 second window or something like that. If she’s damaging AND healing simultaneously, like she can do with coalessence, then she’d be stacking fire points at a slightly higher rate than you. If you watch it in slow-mo you can see she started coal well before you blossomed, she killed the junk, almost killed the zarya and had most of them at half or lower HP plus she was simultaneously healing the JQ and whoever else were burning from Ashe dynamite before you started blossom, essentially by the time you pressed Q, all you did was finish the kills she started.

I once got POTG for rezzing a Genji. I died straight away and he got a 4k blade. My POTG was literally his blade viewed from my corpse lol.

Lol perhaps better than the old Torb PotG where he dies and his turret wipes the team!

She contributed more damage towards those kills. If she does 60% to each of them and you do 40%, she gets more credit even if you deal the final blows.

Yeah that and molten core. 2CP, pop a turret down, molten core everywhere and watch the elims roll in from the comfort of spawn.
