How come other games with much larger playerbases also have matchmaking issues?
Not sure which games you mean, but we shouldn’t need 10+ “avoid teammate” slots in a game with a thriving playerbase.

What are their complaints?
Are they being matched with people too high or low? Do they get the same players again and again? Is it an “I deserve better teammates even though I actually suck” issue?

This could be abused in high ranks where are just a few players you can play with. Blizz even confirmed that the MM in comp has issues with the latest blog post. We will see the improvements in S2.
I’m pretty sure the issue is nobody queues for support.
They should keep support queue 500xp permanently.

They’re offering those now because the lack of rewards has been one of the biggest complaints about OV2. If not the biggest complaint.

-Matchmaking is broken af, there are so many people playing on wrong ranks
-Servers still broken
-Some heroes like Sojourn still OP af but Genji etc gets nerfed and Sojourn not?
-Reporting system is nothing more than “Oh im so mad about my doom tank that im gonna to report him for trolling or abusive chat so he gets banned automatically”
The list is even longer but this community seems to ignore these problems because theyre HUGE HUGE HUGE fangirls of blizzard

You are the one who is on a forum of a game you clearly dont like. I dont take it personally, but I think people like you should search for a better thing to do. 
Do you have some stats for that or are this just your “feelings”? Last time I checked, blizz had announced 35 million players and more daily active player than OW1 had in its early days. So…?
