Could Blizzard give Mercy a way to tell the rest of her team that her Resurrection ability is ready?
I’m a little tired of being told how much I suck because I didn’t Resurrect someone. If I could have hit a key that said my Resurrect ability still had a 22 second cooldown when they died, they might have to eat their foot more often.
Ive requested this since single target rez was a thing years ago! “My resurrect is on cooldown! 22 seconds remaining!” when you press a hotkey, PLEASE Blizz
Would also love some UI element or visual indication that Brigitte’s inspire is being applied to team mate(s), and an indication when it stops
Currently all we have is the initial yellow burst graphic centered on Brig. That doesn’t tell you if it’s active or not after it’s happened, or even the size of the radius like Lucio’s though
to OP: When Mercy had such an ability as a multi/freedom rez ultimate, it used the convienence of being seen under the “Ult status” prompt. Since it was changed, that extremely useful info has been removed. I would very much like to see said timers added as well, or more preferably, that they go back to that familiar and better working system.
I’d like a rez-range indicator more honestly.
It should be automatic. On player side. Mercy’s Res countdown is visible on the soul. On Mercy’s side. She sees the respawn counter. The only time this is different is in custom games with duplicates.
Here is the solution … next time someone complains about not getting rezzed you look at them and say “Shut your ****ing mouth! You get rezzed when I can rezz AND when I think you deserve to be rezzed. Git gud!”

Most of the time if you were yelling at me to rez you and I didn’t, it’s because you were being a human pineapple and literally saying “REZ ME MERCY!! REZ ME I HAVE ULT” as if Im supposed to recognize each of the 5 other people’s individual voices and know what hero it belongs to after playing with every one for 300 seconds total
I know their tiny 10 pixel wide portrait appears in very top left when someone speaks, but that’s extremely hard to see in the heat of battle sometimes
Be vocal with it.
“Going in for a Rez!”
“Rezzes cooldown is now beginning”
“15 Seconds left”
ETC. Let your team know and they wont be as rude.
to force them all feed when ability is up, thinking you gonna rez them all? no thanks!
You assume everyone is using voice chat. It takes too long to type it out. But if I could press a key that displayed the countdown, that would be faster than anything. Frankly, I’d rather have the choice between hitting X to call for heals as Mercy or switching it to tell the team how long until my next Resurrection.
Well, if it’s QP Classic and they’re being toxic…
Instead of raging, engaging with them, instead of overatressing the game, you could just type in,
“Okay you guys can go ahead and heal then” and swap off of Mercy and just play whatever. This game is not worth you being stressed, yelled at, having to put up with toxicity.
Whatever. Enjoy the game. I’m sorry to hear people are mean to you - It’s unfair.
