I’m confused after sometimes an hour, it slowly shows my spot in some queue to have a chance to connect to a server… starts usually at 500+ players ahead. But as it reaches zero and finally starts to connect, fails to do so (maybe because of DDOS) but what is frustrating is that after 3-4 tries, and re-tries it simply fails out to a big red banner that asks me to try again later.
I’m sorry Blizzard but that seems like a real bad idea. If you have DDOS and I’m blocked from connecting, please let it continue to connect for much longer. Having it fail out and send me to the back of the line is one of the most unfortunate and frustrating choices you could make. Please reward us who have waited for sometimes hours with a more robust reconnect loop. Please let it try to reconnect for much longer. I can’t understand why you would end trying to connect so quickly. Is it that you didn’t anticipate another DDOS attack, like you have had so many times before at launch?
Please please please make the reconnect / retry process while looking for a server more robust. I don’t know what else is possible, but letting it try for a longer time would be really great. Maybe give it 10 minutes instead of 30 seconds.
