Being a support main is something which is painful , you have to keep your team alive but you are the enemy’s primary target . And support heroes’ HP are not so good and heroes like Ana and Zenyatta are so immobile . Although heroes like Mercy and Lucio can have some kits to escape , but it’s still not enough to handle the assassins like tracer and genji . Can blizzard led their helping hand to the support heroes ?

Genji and Tracer are meant to hunt down supports, but if you die so much as a support to the point where you feel like you’re not contributing; you should work on your positioning and communication.

It kinda comes with the territory, on the other hand supports don’t have to stress about securing vital kills. Right now I think Ana is the only one that really needs a survivability buff, although I wouldn’t mind if Zen got his latest nerf reverted.
Are ya sure maybe the DPS and tanks couldn’t do a better job of protecting their supports? I’ve found that almost every time I’ve died there’s little I could do. I was out played, because my team won’t turn around and help me–despite me communicating via mic (and my character saying something in game about needing help).
You can’t lay all the blame at his feet, when tanks and DPS in this game do an absolutely horrific job at defending us. If they hadn’t, we wouldn’t have gotten Brigitte.

It’s a “git gud” situation here ladies and gentlemen, he has 21 hours on sombra but complaning about Genji and tracer and he is not even support main.

It’s when I started expecting less from my team that I started getting better. Granted, it’s a team game, but there’s always something you could’ve done better as a support. There’s nothing wrong with asking for help, you’re playing a very vulnerable class, but the tanks might be pushing back the frontlines and the dps might be helping them; it depends on the situation

Or change role. Support heroes are incredibly powerful. No, not a dps main. Actually support and tank flex. I know what i’m talking about. Yes I’m low plat, but still! I manage to pull my weight. As Lucio, when I pop off, it’s actually me hunting down Tracer and Genji. As Zen, if i have the slightest amount of peel I can consistently manage to 50/50 against flankers. If it’s just one flanker on me I can actually handle myself and if i can’t I switch to Moira or Lucio. As Moirait is quite easy to defend yourself if you have the slightest skill in positioning and you’re not playing pure dps moira.
Mercy is dependent on having her teammates in loS and have them create escapes for her, which can be complicated sometimes (yes I’m terrible at mercy) and brig can easily pull her own weight.
Supports are good right now, and what scares me is that some of them might be nerfed soon which will make it more complicated. But we’ll find a way to ruin the dps, we always do.
The ones actually needing a helping hand right now are tanks, especially anchor tanks… especially Rein

Absolutely, and I can only speak from personal experience, is all. It’s prolly the elo I’m in. Not exactly rolling in high skilled players over here, nor am I one. But I’m not exactly facing them, either. Unless it’s a smurf…or we have a thrower…or a leaver…or the other things that plagues everyone in comp. 
I just found that often times, other than outright killing that flanker, there’s not a whole lot I can do. I’ve even ran to our tank and DPS before and they looked at me chicken eyed, like I had a third eye or something–while Genji is just flipping around beatin’ my tush!

Have you tried tank? Support is easy mode in comparison. Honestly, and I say this as a flex, Support players whine too much.
The only Support really struggling is Ana, the rest are all quite strong and more than capable of defending themselves and/or escaping. Supports have to have a weakness, any stronger than they currently are, and they’d be straight up broken.

Did he say “Hey Blizzard pls nerf genji and tracer cuz they keep killing me and they suck lol”? No, he said to up the support characters’ kits so that they could hold their own against them. You’re just not reading it right.
As so u want supports to be able to 1v1 dps who are expected to kill those supports and guess whaaaat it’s a nerf to dps but inderctly
Do I agree with this post? Not really. But the fact that you were trying to demean someone’s point based on their stats is horrendous. Even if, supports can already 1v1 DPS. DPS are not always expected to kill the supports, because the supports you fight are always inconsistent.
why cant you realise how overpowered tracer is? whether this guys post is correct or not ill agree on one thing which seems to be upsetting you. Tracer is way to strong

The supports’ survivability isn’t the issue and OP never asked for flankers to be nerfed. They’re having trouble dealing with them and is asking for help

So why no one can play her below GM?
So why she has below Avg winrate in every single tier?
If she is op why only 1% of the playerbase who can play her correctly?
Why does she get on avg. elims as much as any other dps? Like soldier 76 or Genji for instance?
point 1: youre gold and play her
point 2: with highest pickrate comes lower winrate when players like you play her
point 3: because they actually have good game sense, like anybody below master, the reason we arent climbing is either aim, gamesense or communication, with a mechanical hero like tracer chances are its aim or gamesense
point 3: because her ult doesnt get her more than 1 kill for each use (most times) and seen as one of her clips is only enough to kill 1 person, she needs to 1 clip someone and get out
First of all, proof. Second of all, there is no “correct” way to play her. Everyone has different play styles that you should respect. Some play styles are just better than others. Third of all, Soldier, Genji, and Tracer are different heroes so they are gonna get different amounts of eliminations. There’s no point in comparing one hero to another.
