Playing OWC made me think

I never actually played 2016 Overwatch having not started until early 2018 but 2018 OW is closer to 2016 OW than current OW. Those matches with the OG cast and OG stats and abilities made me really appreciate how far OW has come. Like OW 2016 was a great benchmark and start but im so glad for all the changes that have come throughout the years.

Overwatch has truly come a long way from its early days. It’s more clunky and all over the place compared to now.

Of course OW has come a long way since the launch version of its predecessor, but if the devs did an OW classic 2x2x2 around a good meta like dive, then the sentiment would be very different.
