Does playing other FPS games ruin your skill at overwatch?
Personally, everytime i play a different FPS game, online or single player, when i come back to overwatch i become so bad and drop a ton of SR. It ruin my mechanics, my aim, and my game sense. It kinda frustrating when i work so hard getting better at overwatch, only to go so far back in just a week of enjoying other games.
Anyone can relate?
Well overwatch IS much different than most other FPS games. So itâs understandable youâre a bit worse after playing some time. Iâve had the same experience. I stopped playing for about 5 months then when I come back my entire IQ on how to play doomfist properly had disappeared and I turned into how doomfist complainers on this forum play him.
It does the opposite for me. If i come back from a long session of any fps, I donât need any warmup and i am generally close to my peak aim.
Lol i hate you a lil bit now
Tbh my aim is damaged the least. My game sense is realy screwed
Playing Borderlands 3 is kind of making me better at OW.
Playing other hero shooters however, like Paladins, does kinda make OW heroes feel different and âoffâ for a bit until I re-adjust
I just usually come back with keybind confusion.
Playing Paladins does make OW off putting, the hitboxes are so forgiving imho that it makes your judgement clouded in OW, like: âYeah, that wouldâve been a headshot in paladins.â lmao

I dont know, im just bad at fps games
Problem is im on console - adjusting the aim is really hard as each game has different features for aim - different aim assists, and different joystick movements (beside sensitivity overwatch got an exponential movement which is really nice, other games do not have it).
