Playing lifeweaver is like wearing a kick me sign

All first round im saving my baby dva when he feeds and gets mech destroyed in enemy back line. He has one death and I have 8 saves at the end of the first round. He gets mad at me and sends the message *** (at first i thought it was the typical homophobic slur but he was telling me to kermit) so I stop pulling him. He hates it when I do, I want to watch him die a bunch… win win right? nope he gets mad that i don’t pull him and save him! idgi

The issue with Lifeweaver is the infamous Dunning-Kruger effect. They are not competent enough to understand that you are helping them, or that you stopped helping them because that is what they desired. Nothing you can do, they are beyond salvation and are lucky that their body is not also a vegetable.

Lifeweaver and Mercy don’t need to ask for consent

So why was your D.va being toxic to you again if you were keeping her alive? I’ve been getting insane amounts of healing on Life Weaver recently. Only other support that comes even close is moira in terms of the amount of heals I’m outputting. The only thing Life Weaver lacks is offensive potential which other supports have.

idk tbh yall i pretty much exclusively get thanked when i get acknowledged on LW :frowning:

Idk, i had the most healing on my team by a lot, I had 8 saves - all her, and she had one death. That one death was right at the end of the round (defense dorado) where we held it to ot. Overall a pretty good round. be she goes “Every time you pull me. I bang my head into the wall. Im putting holes in all my drywall” and kept going on with that. eventually said “You don’t pull a baby dva in a lost fight” but again she only had one death, that she got right at the very end of the round, so I don’t see the issue?

I think its just like when you’ve got triple the other supports healing, and the most kills and damage in the game as moira, and your teammates say you’re throwing. They just see a hero they don’t like and blame them for everything

I wanna see some of your weaver game play I don’t care weather its comp or quick play your probably one of the only other people who actually plays him correctly ignoring myself obviously.

Good. Nobody should be using him anyway

It is a requirement for all Weaver mains to delight in irony and schadenfreude, so that you can laugh at your teammates for their idiocy and don’t care so much if you lose because of it.

It’s not embarrassing if you’re shameless.

Another opinion? I feared you’d run out.

I just want to know, why do you guys always wait until after dva loses mech to save her? It’s really annoying. Also, this isn’t an los issue because it has happened many times when they had los.

Lifeweaver is the most thankless hero in OW history I think lol…so many people you save from a definite death don’t have YOUR perspective on what was happening, and assume you are trolling or being a prick. Sometimes, I do make an accidental pull (because everyone is cluster eff’d and I can’t get an easy lock on WHO I want to save) and I HAVE ruined ally ults…on accident. It happens. We are human. It is no different than a reaper who thinks he is gonna wraith in, press Q and save the day, but instead gets MERC’D the instant he pushes Q. Mistake made. The big difference of course, is the “mistake” affects another player with YOUR ability and makes it feel more “personal”. Honestly, much as I love life grip, I would be okay if it was re worked into something else so people didn’t hate on me for simply playing my favorite hero now.

Lifeweaver is played solely by trolls, there to troll their team with pull. Before that, these were the people who blocked spawn door with mei.

I mean… It’s a skill issue, but I assume the Lifeweaver thinks D.Va will boost out. Gripping tanks—especially a mobile tank—is low prio. The D.Va player should disengage if possible.

Nope! Try again

Yeah sometimes they grab me mid flight and other times I don’t have time to get out. It’s a mistake from both players so I can’t get too mad at them, but I just wonder if they’re going to grip me why not do it sooner than later :joy:

I love pulling people and saving them from certain death and then having them rage. Fills me with joy every time hahaha. The best are the ones that leave the game.

It was just yesterday I had trouble getting to the Wifeleaver there was a widow behind him and a mercy Infront. And this was quick-play I believe.

So if the tank and DPS can hit their shots, Wifeleaver is kinda scary.

Good. I’m going to keep pulling you at low HP until you’re homeless or in a mental health centre.

Understand that what he said wasn’t about you or your play at all, it was about him and where he’s at in his life. I wouldn’t pay any mind to it other than to pity him. He’s very obviously not right in the head, especially if he keeps denting his drywall with it.

Sure. This is, like, not a perfect game (I make a few questionable decisions LOL) but it’s like… 11 elims, 1 death, 14k healing, ~4k damage: 48W025. Not too bad, for all intents and purposes. Wouldn’t have died if my dash was off CD.

Or maybe people just like to make their own decisions? Crazy how no one complains about being Suzu’d Lamped or Zen/Lucio ulted

Also you’re a silver hog OTP, talk about bad players when you are better than them
