This all started 2 days ago. For some reason, im getting US games, even though I’m playing from the EU. And yes, in the battle.net launcer I am selecting EU servers.
I have tried restarting both Overwatch and battle.net. I even tried to restart my pc AND router, but nothing seems to work…
Anyone know how I can fix this?
Here’s the way it’s supposed to work:
The server looks where your last connection hop is located, and then places you on the server where you will have the lowest ping. This can depend on player availability for your mode and rank. But connecting you to another region is strange and sounds like a major routing issue. What’s your ISP and country?
I have Hiper as my ISP, playing from Denmark.
Also just checked with my other account, and that one connects to EU as normal.
Its just my main here that connects to NA servers
Have you reset your networking equipment at all since this started happening? I’m not sure why one account is connecting elsewhere, but sometimes this happens for players with multiple accounts.
I just tried to restart the router, still on NA servers.
When I press Control+Shift+N it says im connected to ord1

Checking the account history on my side, I’m only seeing the account logging in to the Americas client instead of the Europe client.
Lets try clearing out the app’s cache data. After logging back in, please double check both the authentication region (when you type your email/password into the battle.net app) and game region (above the blue play button.)

Could it be that I’m running the Battle.net BETA? Im gonna try going back to normal
EDIT: That was the issue! Apparently on the beta-launcher, it shows im playing on european servers, when in reality I was playing on american…
Swithcing back to the non-beta launcer shows I’m launching the american servers, instead of EU

Super glad switching to the retail app version resolved the issue. I have to say I haven’t ever seen that happen before. You’re sure the Region setting for the game was set for Europe on the Beta? The menu/display is slightly different. Should look like this.
If you switch back to beta, and the problem starts again, definitely post this on our beta feedback forums. Reporting bugs in beta features is a great way to help ensure they don’t continue into the live version.

Oh, I didnt know how to actually switch the region on the beta-launcher, it just showed Europe when i clicked on my profile name, so I figured I was on the EU servers, which is why I was so confused when i joined NA games 
But thanks for the help either way! Now I know how to change region in the future
