Hi so first of all I would like to say I am new to PC so I’m not an expert. However I am a user of both controller and keyboard and mouse. So to explain what I mean I personally feel playing mercy is much easier with a controller than a keyboard same can be said for Brigette, as a result I swap between the two on the go with all 3 plugged in. However the cursor will now remain there if I use both.
Now why should we bother talking about this? Well unlike console using the other peripheral is not cheating in fact many would argue it hinders you. We have the controller built in to the pc same with a keyboard and mouse so why wouldn’t it be great if we could utilise both on the fly?
That’s all I’ve got to say feel free to say ur thoughts
I thought you could use both at the same time just fine.
I’ve never had an issue using any mix of lightgun, keyboard, mouse and ddr pad.
So what I get is I have my cursor on my screen the whole time blocking my view
Do you not have this?

No, I don’t lol. I don’t know what to tell you. Only thing I can think of is if somehow your game application ceased being the primary focus so it’s showing your desktop cursor. That would only happen if you are playing in borderless window mode
Huh maybe it’s a full screen and it’s the overwatch cursor if that makes a difference it’s locked in the middle of the screen but then moves when I use mouse but is stuck when I use controller
I play left hand controller( 2 buttons on the back for abilities, 2 on the bottom for crouch / “I need healing” and the joystick for movement/ jump
Mouse in the right hand(has about 10 buttons)
I don’t have much issues, but you can go to settings and click “force mouse & keyboard interface”
