I find myself exploding every game a lot…it´s like playing against Junkrat with aim. Or maybe I just need to get used to it…

Freya is just a mashup of support counters. That makes her very predictable.
Though her ult has an effect like Zarya’s, she launches it from the air just like Illari, so I follow my Illari script to make them waste it.
Most of the time, Illari will fly across the entire known universe just to solo ult a support, especially if it’s Mercy or Ana. So, when I expect they have ult, I hang around near a doorway entrance to bait it, then hide when it comes my way. Even if I get hit, the ult is often wasted, or at best kills only me if someone else catches me inside the hallway.
I have been doing this against Freja ults and it’s working great.

The following support heroes can clear the Take Aim shot from their person or others and heal all the damage dealt.
- Kiriko (protection suzu)
- Moira (Fade, Biotic Orb)
- Lucio (Amp Healing)
- Baptiste (Immortality Field Perk, or even Regen Burst)
The rest of the Supports are less able to deal with it, but Brigitte can toss Repairpacks to heal back any damage lost fairly quickly.
Ana, Mercy, and Lifeweaver seems especially vulnerable to it.
She doesn’t have to fire from the air. It can be fired from the ground, too.
Her M2 is a cannon ball. I was speed walling fast as Lúcio and died many times to that bomb.
The squishies on my team are constantly at half in every match. If I stop paying attention to them for one second, they pop one by one like pixies in a microwave. Freja’s alt fire is basically a McCasserole headshot.

Illari can also launch it from low altitude. My point is that a lot of players are using air time to launch it so it falls into the same trap. The effects can be dodged in much the same way.
I should have added, that I am mostly playing Ana/Mercy/Moira and Moira is not a problem xD
I also play mostly Mercy and Ana. Freja is another Illari when ulting.

i refuse to touch support with freja being extreme levels of OP like as soon as i get a POTG with dva i typically logoff as even playing some DPS is pointless if the enemy has a freja like its showing they just dont care anymore
Yeah, I’m not sure what to do when Freja players start learning to fire off baits of Take Aim, just so you’d waste cooldown and then eat a double-tap to the face.
Today I had two games, where every single Freya ult went at me as Ana xD
