Playing against Cassidy in OW2

The ā€œYou gotta be kidding!ā€ at the end sums it up perfectly!

A grotesque exaggeration. But the point is understood.

Still, an ability that easy to land should not do well over 100 damage. 100 damage is the absolute maximum a homing mini pulse bomb should do.

ok, fair

Well, I guess he’s still gotta counter Tracer somehow.

They know Cree players need the crutch 🫢

Yeah it should be 90 to 100 damage max, not 131. I don’t understand wanting to tighten up the skill based actions in game, but then going with a homing magnetic sticky. At least not one doing over 50% damage to squishy targets with zero effort.

Already seeing players in koth just blindly spamming it off cool down as it will hit someone for full damage.

It’s amazing that they think a hitscan hero should have a homing projectile in the first place. It’s a funny acknowledgement by the devs that Cassidy’s entire identity was tied up in flashbang - because stuns countered everything.

OW2 is their opportunity to rid the game of ALL auto-aimed abilities, including ults. Watching recent OWL matches and seeing players kill most of the enemy team with Tac Visor…are viewers supposed to be impressed? Wow! He pressed Q and then the game aimed at everything for him!

Outside of turrets, all this auto-aim junk needs to go. It’s gonna look so incredibly stupid trying to sell gameplay like this as a competitive e-sport.

Look out Bees. They will be here soon.

I’ll give them 30 minutes, last time, they didn’t come at all. Concentrated gamer dust must’ve been really rare that day…

I have seen it go behind me…so it seems pretty real

Given how bad of a nerf the ability is from his core ability that they foolishly chose to remove, that his character cannot function properly without, honestly it’s not good enough to compensate. I can’t believe you’re complaining about it. It could do 200 damage and it still wouldn’t be as good as Flashbang was, for McCree.

You have to be within 10m for the sticky, it takes time to detonate. CC was far stronger, it’s not a good ability. Only a bot would complain about it.

RIP ur auto aim oneshot sphere, now you have an auto aim oneshot sphere that requires you to land one bodyshot :frowning:

That’s the point even though I heavily disagree with you
Giving one of the best dps an ability just as strong as his last would be stupid

Cassidy’s whole kit is built around flashbang, combat roll isn’t a good ability. Cassidy’s mobility is awful, they nerfed his range. It should be just as strong as his old ability.

They should have gave him something like Overload or mobility so Cassidy can close distance. Not this trash 10m ability that takes time to detonate.

You seem to think McCree will actually have a place in the game without his stun. He’s outclassed by Soldier, Ashe, and Reaper. His stun was specifically why you played him. Without it, it’s better to take another character, tbh. Said other character depends on the map, of course.

I suppose he could have a place as a back up only if you are on a map that say, favors Soldier, and your other DPS is also a hitscan and he took Soldier first, so you have no choice but to take the back up hero.
