It’s time for self reflection. There is one constant in your matches.
And you should self reflect as well. It’s idiotic to think you won’t get bad teammates, and to take all that negativity on yourself.
It’s a team game. You can only do so much.
You don’t have to be negative. You’re the only one who you have control over in your team, trying to work on your flaws instead of pointing out others’ will be more productive in the long run.
Yes there is: an enemy Orisa.
If you’re bronze for 5 years… that’s a YOU problem.
There’s more than one constant in my match. There are 9 other constants. Random players. I only account for 1/5 of the data on my team. I can only do so much.
Learning to succeed with poorly skilled teammates is part of the game. Remember they’re often on both teams.
Yet the same players can always climb back to masters and GM over and over again. You can do more than you realize. Some matches are unwinnable, but you’ll have a lot of matches lost because of mistakes you make that you don’t even realize.
he prolly is the bad player so every game he is the weakest link. I know when i am playing badly and when i am not relative to my other team mates.
But can you fix that? No cool, they not saying take accountability for what you do wrong and it just might be a skill issue at some point
wrong.
everyone on your team is the same skill level as you. there are no “bad teammates” relative to yourself.
its 100% ego and people not taking responsibility.
ye sometimes people dont play as well or they make the mistake of not swapping when they need too. but that doesnt mean they are worse then you, it could very well be your fault they performed so poorly. picking the wrong hero for any role can make everyone elses job harder and that means they perform worse then usual.
but if were being completely realistic and honest, then all of us that are under like 4000sr are bad.
this includes those of us in masters, those in diamond and all the metal ranks.
so if someones in that range, its a little silly for them to be flaming people for “being bad” when 99% of all players are bad.
Agreed. I never report for sab. I give every1 the benefit of the doubt.
Even as a bronze5 player in a rigged/broken scam.
If I can’t carry 1v6 (your own self-doubt is on their team), I don’t deserve the W.
if an exceptional is blaming, maybe not necessarily out loud, with exceptional stats, then they’re the exception. exceptionals cant control the controller of others. or the positioning of others. exceptionals are usually the 1st on fire and the 1st with ult, nearly every team fight. thats — the one constant in my matches.
There is never a game where you cannor figure out how you could have improved the outcome… even losing less badly.
Agree but the higher in rank you go the less people carry and the more they blame others. Wanna shortcut out of my bronze5 matches? Report me for throwing. Blame others for your mistakes. The GM lobbies I watch? They look like ezland botworld with cherry-picked cherries and every report goes out when someone doesn’t scoreboard (they actually still reason in scoreboards up there???)
Make every excuse except pop off and hard carry in the easiest lobbies out of 35 million players.
Pathetic people can even report for sab down here.
This is true but there’s an obvious time when you know it’s not you that’s the issue
I’m sure when Steven Hawkin was thinking everyone was dumber than him, it wasn’t in his head.
Sometimes other people are just that bad.
Would be nice if that was the case. Unfortunately terrible matchmaking only aggravates this issue. You actually DO get bad teammates. Its just not their fault, but everyone gets so tired of crappy matches they take it out on others.
“When you hear about bronze for 5 years – for 5 years?! That sounds like a choice.”
-Kanye West
the matchmaking is fine
people over exaggerate everything, and then the less experienced hear them talking about this stuff and think its a fact.
unless you are either high elo, playing in a country with no players or are playing on console the odds of someone significantly lower ranked then you being on your team is very low because the system priorities equal matches over all else. and it takes a long time in queue for it to throw someone thats like 500+ sr lower then on your team. (which is why those 3 are able to get people 500+ sr lower then them)
the reason people believe otherwise is because they dont understand that your shown rank isnt your actual rank.
in ow1 your mmr and sr were fairly close unless you were smurfing or had decayed. but in ow2 your mmr seems be higher then your hidden SR/shown rank most of the time until you of course hit your peak.
this means you could be in a plat match with a guy that has a gold or even SILVER icon but that person is still plat he isnt gold or silver.
everything else is just a form of confirmation bias. and for anyone who doesnt know what that is: the tendency of people to favor information that confirms or strengthens their beliefs or values and is difficult to dislodge once affirmed. Confirmation bias is an example of a cognitive bias.
