What I don’t understand Im playing a game as I should be filling when needed or just filling general, picking hero’s to counter, Vocal on call outs and just around good teammate i hope, in overwatch.
What i don’t get as I call out that Im diving Pharah and with a dva is then instantly called out by a hanzo asking if ive got them and if so then kill them, I proceed to die to my dismay we only have one healer so diving is abit on the lean so I switch to road so I can at least support my self and elevate some stress of the solo heal.
I continue to get berated over the mic have “You got the pharah” “Your trash” “your gay and a nerd who sits inside” and many more. This goes on the whole round. To my dismay I loose an endorsement at the end of this round i know you loose endorsement for getting reported none of my team mates would do that so it had to be this guy who flared up for no reason. An yes honestly it was no reason I have no idea on what i did also the other team had 2 players flaming in chat to the individual who was flaming me reinforcing he was toxic the last game.
What I don’t understand is why I try to play nice but then for some reason a toxic player can come along and drop your endorsement, There is no rhyme to reason its really means that toxic behavior is endorsed this is a failing on behalf of the team and it needs to be revisited. There need to be more information on the endorsement system and more actions to endorse good behavior and not bad.
When you are reported or avoided as teammate, you lose some endorsement.
If it was a stack who mass avoided you, don’t stress about a number. Endorsement level means close to nothing.

Endorsements are meaningless. Just ignore them if they make you feel worse.

Why would you want to stay at a high level when every time you go up a rank you get a Lootbox? Not saying it is a good way to farm it but there is a benefit to not maintaining a level.
I don’t play as often as I used to, so I decay by the time I get around playing again and get a lootbox after playing and getting votes.

The endorsement system is actually really stupid in it’s regard. You are given a number and everybody has equal force.
No matter how toxic you, or the other team is, if you are reported, the number will drop. If you are endorsed the number will rise regardless of what endorsement level they are or how nice/mean they are.
Even if the endorsement level matters, it doesn’t affect anything. You can have endorsement level 5 and still be a dick or endorsement level 1 and be a good person. One report from either a toxic person or a good spirited person has equal force anyways and same with endorsement.
How many additional boxes do you actually get for endorsement levels? I am at 3 for some time now and recieved 2 or 3 boxes. At this rate I don’t care about it even a little.
Don’t quote me on this but you only lose endorsements if action was taken against you not if you’re reported
I think you get 1 box per level beyond 1 so yeah, not that much.
Got 1 account with 4 and another one with 3 and that seems to be the rule. Dunno if people with level 5 get 5 just because its max? Beyond that point, theres no value.

I’m confused, I tought endorsment goes down if you don’t receive some votes in a determined number of matches. If you leave an unfinished match you lose 1 lv automatically.
