I was in Q trying to decide if I should switch my player icon when a question struck me.
Why does overwatch not have name cards?
on the top right of your screen next to your player icon is your account name, account level and your endorsement level, all sitting on a solid blue background.
This is a prime real estate that’s not being used!!!
-play more then one hero but only a single player icon? - name card!
-want to rep your favorite owl team? - name card!
-your max border and already have all the cosmetics? - name card!
you don’t care about name cards? - name card!
overwatch is in dire need of new cosmetics and I think name cards would be a neat and easy way of helping with that.
I say easy as its not a foreign concept, blizz is already making icons and sprays, its the same thing but on your account banner.
name card ideas-
-[text art/fonts] catch phrases for heroes or owl teams for example the LA Gladiators - Shields Up!
-[gun art] for example widows sniper with smoke coming from the end after firing a shot.
-[splash art] for example junk bombs exploding covering the card in flames or something.
We should take the SPRAYS and PUSH it somewhere else! - Patrick Star.
