Remember: The rank titles are not worth a thing. They could be a diamond player on DPS and still play a silver support, so they could be in your bronze lobby.
Did you assume from their title, or you have profiles and screenshots?
Pretty unrealistic to think someone with a Master/GM challenger title in any role is going to be that much worse in the other roles though. Plat range is all over so I understand that example above but I’m legit gold/plat at best and get the GM Master titles in about half my games.( speaking mostly on QP experience here which is a complete mess for matchmaking, comp does tend to feel better but I dont play it as much)

Would be nice if locked profiles LET YOU KNOW they are private before clicking “view profile”. Ugh.
Had a Rein teamkill and emote and I was a little disappointed (angry) and wanted to check. Nope.

This was my first thought as well.
But I have recently seen it happen and was blue to verify on both Overbuff and their own profile.
I have to admit I am a little concerned.
If you’re diamond on DPS you’re going to be better at support than a silver, no matter how bad you are, simply from knowing the game. You pick up stuff like positioning and timing, which is why this argument holds no water
