Why are there so many plat players in GM at the moment? I lost GM several times already and had to crawl my way back up, because when I’m there I get plat tanks in my games. They are not used to playing at GM, so several times I have to walk them through how to play their role. Most of the time though they are not in voice chat and just run in and complain they “aren’t getting healed”. One of my accounts had such an issue with this i had 12 of these type of games in a row and it deranked to Diamond 2 from GM4. 
How is the MMR this broken for people who have been placed into plat after their placements, to get placed in GM games. I mean… if they have been winning their plat games then face them up against diamond players. That the next step on the rank tiers, why are they thrust into GM where we have to lose games because we are instantly with a tank who doesn’t belong at out rank (not yet, they may reach it one day but not now).
This is majorly tank players but I have noticed several times where its also dps players.
Ultimately this is unfair for both the plat players and the gm players. Both ranks are getting punished by the matchmaking system for no reason. Plats can’t win and rank up if they are getting dominated by another team of GMs and GMs are being forced to lose games just because there is a player who shouldn’t be there and isn’t ready for that rank.
