This is the type of post that would benefit from some replay codes. Usually people who blame the team are the weakest link.

Eh… Some players are very bad. So bad that it makes me contemplate their lives. How do they function, day to day? It is unfathomable. It is none of my business really, but bad teammates rarely make me ask these questions in other games. I, personally, believe it is because in other games, bad players are just bad. But in this game, they seem to struggle in a way that I cannot phrase nicely. They lack a certain sense about them…

Oh I have 100% played with some bad players but if I was gonna go to the forums and use it as an example for why I can’t win I would be sure to have something to base that statement off of.

You’re not hard stuck. You probably belong there. On DPS I placed gold 4 and climbed to GM 5 and on tank I placed silver 5 and climbed to diamond 3. If you were really better than silvers you would be able to climb out of that rank without much issue. You probably just got lucky and peaked plat in OW1 but have the skills of a silver. It happens.

Sometimes I feel like blizzard has bots in the game, I know it isn’t true but it does feel like they are NPC.

Wasn’t just lucky I placed plat and diamond In OW 1 every season…I truly am getting new players In my lobbies In silver…
If not Blizzard then a competitor trying to ruin their game.
It’s the scoreboards it’s really throwing the light on dps players like i.n ow1 you know a dps is bad, but now you can see numbers.
Like literally 900 dmg after three rounds and not even widowmaker or something like that sojourn echo.
Once had a junkrat with 1.5k dmg.
I don’t know what to think of these players maybe matchmaking is placing them wrong.They are not trolling i checked the replay they were trying.
I just feel bad for them and team.
This is now happening frequently atleast one team has a dud like that, the enemy team had a soldier who felt like gm he Fragged 15k while their genji did 1.9k he felt like bronze or new.
It’s just so bad experience for everyone.

I was gold in OW1 and hard stuck b5 now. After more than 100 games I can’t get higher than bronze 5 lol
If you’re getting new players then so is the enemy team. You should be able to carry silver matches if you are truly a plat.
Not true, If I’m a healer which I’m stuck In how am I supposed to carry as mercy exactly? I have a dps moria or a lucio who has no idea how to use lucio… I can’t carry as a healer, and I cannot keep healing my team If I’m getting targeted by a tank or dps the whole game

well if your hardstuck silver then the only real explanation is that you actually weren’t a plat player but a silver player getting carried in plat games.
I dunno about that, I have seen some people BP leveling with a bot. Reminds me of WoW AV leveling at times.
maybe don’t play mercy? probably the worst character you could choose for individual impact.
The games are still poorly balanced. I’ve had games where we’ve steamrolled, games where we’ve gotten steamrolled, mixed in with actually balanced games. I can only guess that because everyone got dumped down two tiers, there are still people working their way up but intermixing with people already at their right level. It could be you’re just suffering the poor end of that RNG. Keep at it.
And yeah, it’s a new game style, more brawl. Unless you’re pocketing a truly awesome dps, mercy seems pretty weak for carrying (unless you’re a good battle mercy). Play somethigng where you can help secure kills and not be so healer focused. A pure healer turns it into a 5x4 for damage.
