After the mess from b5 to d4, it still is a mess what the mm try to do.

Just reached d4 and the last 30 games were all master lobbys. My mates avg plat low diamond.

Guys, the last 30 games was not a SINGLE plat/dia only lobby. How can this happen, when i am in that division?!

It is cool, to see the lobbys going so far. Alot of smurfs too. „Maining obviosly only one char“.

The games were 50/70 win and loose, 2 times a dps random teammate left midgame, one said official in chat he can´t do anything and he doesn´t what he do here. It was a plat 3 genji.

In my opinion it is rude, to hop p3 players 100% into master 5-1 lobbys. It was the last 30 games everytime masters in enemie team, my mates private profiles! so might what are they?! PLAT?

I screenshotted every game too, to remember to not come back this season.

One game, enemie tank TOP 200 open QUE and Master 4 in tank. Our tank BRAND new account.

Good bye, this game dont bait me again. The mm is not worth it any grind. If you really match P3 players dps with top 500 / Masters 5-1 every range there is no reason playing this game while i am in P3 and they farm lower people.

It is obviously those people have no games to win so you give them the games.

Reached from B5 solo to D4 with dps mostly sojurn - with everything i had. Until there is no fix, UNINSTALLED.

This one prime example. Plat/low dia team vs 2 Master 1 and one old 1 master currently ranking up. One mate left.

What the game is likely doing is averaging MMR between teams, with some limits.
There’s gonna be some overlap.
Up one full tier really isn’t crazy. If you are silver and only ever play vs silver, what justifies a rank up?

It certainly helps queue time which is a good thing.

there are fewer people in the diamond+ range. so depending on the time of day, region and role you can easily find yourself in master’s game’s. just like master’s will sometimes find themselves in gm lobbies.

according to numbers from 2019, aprox 10% are in diamond, 3% in masters and 1% in Grandmaster. so that 3% sometimes need to pull in people from diamond that have a close enough mmr.

I had a d2 match and had a top300 in it it happens most of the player base is gold or lower. Id rather go against higher then have a silver in my diamond match .

Started the Tank role climb from B5. Made B2 in 21 wins. Today, I had 3 games with Diamonds and a few plats. And those are the plyers that show profiles. My team’s have been oddly unable to find W or right click. But after 14 wins today it went to S4. Several of the stomps were very hard and people left. I doubt those people will be coming back as they were new and thought the enemy was nothing but hackers.

Mate, 2 master HIGH 1-2 will nock out a plat grp.

There is no reason to call a top 500 player + masters to play against a plat/low dia grp.

Ill get it, one two games to check ok. But not 100% of the games played.

ok, so i deranked to P3 - and still playing vs master enemie team. What freaking joke is this, i played now 2 sessions with my mate from low diamond and plat and they just left by saying - “this lobbys are not normal”

i havent a single Diamond only lobby yet - this game is a joke. 20-30 games played

normal gaming times i would say - just after work

Plats are allowed to fight Masters? I’m glad I stopped playing comp, at gold. Screw that garbage. That’s basically QP crap. I’m never gonna bother entering plat. I don’t want that garbage.

Yes. Plat 3 plays vs Master 1.

had a diamond 1 enemie tank who was top 200 open in que and master 1 support. The dps was master 3 season high 167 and the second one master 1. their support master 5 the other private.

Our team was plat / low dia. And on top we had a brand new tank player.

Or are you complaining about people being in different ranks on different roles and different game modes?

region is also a big part of it, the servers you play on regularly might not have enough players in your given rank.

but you always have to remember that MMR is what matches you not SR or the shown rank.

the best example of this is like dafran placed as a tank and was playing against gm/top 500’s by the end but he placed plat.

if it wasnt someone everyone in GM knows, they’d see the plat and go “wtf a plat in my gm game!!” but in reality its a gm in a gm game with a plat icon because thats just how the game places people.

in your instance it could easily be that the diamond had a mid/high masters mmr but hadnt had there rank catch up to said mmr.

Another reason MMR needs to be axed from this game.

They should make games based on RANK only. Randomly.

Instead, people are playing hard mode games in their lower ranks and not moving up.

Trash that system and go with a real competitive mode, which is… nothing. Random games.

And, what people try to tell here - is a lie.

Also the mechanic, someone has lost games and is lower as the game shows - vs vice versa someone won games and is lower as he is, is absolutely trashtalk.

When i am p3 ranked fresh - my opponent were master 1 dps.

Thats is 12 divisions difference.

That is out of order, as i said. If you play 10 games have 8 plat/diamond lobbys + 1-2 masters… thats ok.

But not 30 games in a row only!!!

And on top, you are trying to tell me i am to good because i match in p3 masters1?

I really do not care and i am not that good i don’t want too. I want plat games when im plat i want diamond games when im diamond.

Makes no sense to give me masters only when im plat!!! For what im playing this?
