I regularly recieved gold medals. I wasn’t carrying but I did my part (dps).
I place 10 sr lower than I finished last season.

How are you not carrying in 2.2k when you are master on support?
Your accuracy is horrible on your dps heroes, might be part of the reason why.
Placements really do nothing except check if your MMR is still aligned.

I wonder if all that bouncing around and projectiles would lend itself to Genji?
I can’t imagine how frustrating tank play must be for you in gold.

There’s a lot of Diamonds and Masters and sometimes even GMs in gold. My 3.8k friend plays with me on my 2.2k queue and he can’t do anything either in a lot of games because it pairs us against other D/M players. Old accounts are just screwed when it comes to matchmaking. I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist but it’s unfortunately very true.
Okay look I was carrying just by abusing mccree’s insane dmg per second. I just didn’t want to sound obnoxious.
Yeah my accuracy is horrible but that didn’t stop me from performing very well for gold/plat standards. I just don’t get the drop in sr after doing so well on placements.
