Placements are to flag players for participating in the current season, which will give them their end-of-season rewards.

And also to keep them in Elo hell. You may think that’s a stupid conspiracy but it’s not if you open your eyes. Think about it, if Blizzard continues to trap you in Elo hell, your brain develops a repetitive mindset and you form a negativity bias. Because of this, you will buy more lootboxes as an escape attempt to create some positive emotions in a claustrophobic environment that Blizzard has purposefully made. The placement system forces the brain to think there is improvement, which is a vital part in keeping the lootbox addiction going. Blizzard employees on average have more Chinese friends than your average American, extrapolating from this, plus the knowledge that the higher ups at Blizzard have been known to visit some People’s Republic of China meetings, it’s obvious that Blizzard has some form of connection with the Chinese Communist Party. Recently I’ve noticed a large transfer of Bitcoin being transferred between the US and China. I tracked the IP config address of the transaction and found the original signal is being sent from Blizzard’s HQ. After analyzing the packet data, I saw that the Bitcoin amounts being sent were equal to the prices of the lootbox bundles sold in Overwatch. I traced the Bitcoin’s pathing data and found that the money was being sent towards southern China, towards the China-Pakistan border. Now obviously you know about the tensions between China and Pakistan, so it’s not a surprise to see the Chinese military near the border. Using advanced satellite reconnaissance technology (Google Earth) I saw no change in the size of China’s military presence around the border, so where is the money going? Using my social media bot net scanning system, I was able to monitor the activity of many Jihadist groups in Pakistan, and noticed a large influx of small arms and ATGMs in the hands of the rebel groups. The rebel groups are staging an attack on Afghanistan, in order to pull NATO troops towards the area. So I questioned why, I did more satellite reconnaissance, and noticed a large military force gather in Greenland. I contacted the High Commissioner of Greenland, Mikaela Engell, for information on the situation. The email I received back claimed everything was fine, but I noticed something. Mikaela Engell always uses a double space after each sentence, but this time it was only a single space. This person was clearly skilled in forgery, but I had a closer relationship with Mikaela than they were expecting and I was able to notice this slight mistake. I came to the conclusion that Greenland had been compromised, and was being used to stage a full scale naval invasion on the US. But why Blizzard, how do they tie into all of this? Obviously the profits from lootboxes are being sent to China in order to fund insurgent groups in Pakistan, but surely that can’t be all of it. Then I thought about it, the Chinese military would need a reconnaissance HQ inside the US to drip feed important information about US infrastructure and military formations. Blizzard is actually a black ops sleeper cell operation by the Chinese military. Blizzard is using big data collected from our play sessions to teach an artificial AI to create a map of the average American’s brain. Using deep learning algorithms, the Chinese military is going to use this data to analyze and predict the United States Military’s actions before they even think of it themselves. With this new strategy, I’ve analyzed using advanced simulations that the US will fall in two weeks or less. Our only hope to stop this is the Fusion Cell Electro Magnetic Pulse (FCEMP) located within Area 51, so we can shut down Blizzard’s deep learning AI. Using my social media bot net, I flooded the internet with memes about Area 51 in order to stage an assault and retrieve the FCEMP. Many will die in the assault, and afterwards I will surely be executed for treason, but this is a necessary sacrifice that must be made.
So that’s why Blizzard is using Elo hell to fund insurgent groups in Pakistan and enable a Chinese naval invasion on the US.
