im in toronto, my ISP is cogeco, getting same issue, lost 100 sr until i realized i was ACTUALLY at a disadvantage. Im livid right now wondering why tf I’m getting matched halfway across the world, resulting in indefinite losses.

same here to be honest 1 account is at 62ping insted of 25-30 ping my usuall since forever. and 2nd account is still stuck on portugues server with 170-200 ping -_- … WHY lord WHY!

Im finding it strange too.
Normally when i get routed to SA Servers i get 160-200 ping, which was happening a bit yesterday,
but this morning im getting 60-80ping and its connected to lax1 which i think is an NA server, which may also be NA West.

But im on the East, in toronto. I normally get 27-32 ping here.

Whatever, ill play on EU, better ping there anyway.

Wife Keeps getting disconnected when trying to join Comp and booted to login, sometimes I am able to relaunch Overwatch and rejoin match in time. other times no. this has been ongoing for over a week now, and constantly sitting at 100+ms / when normally 40-50. Wife has had a few leaver penalties. over the past few days as she is stubborn.

This is honestly pathetic … yet they dare to blame everybody’s ISP’s, it’s not only happening to canadian players, but northamericans and a lot of other people who play in NA, i play from costa rica and it’s happeening to us too, and this is not the first time, we had same issue last year somewhere around this time

This has been going on for months. Blizzard has become a company that doesn’t care any more. The company has lost half of its value lately and there is no hiding why; they have lost their way. The internet also sucks in Canada and the only way around it is if Blizzard locates some servers here. Considering they use Chicago to serve the entire east coast, I wouldn’t count on a Canadian server ever happening.

Hey everyone,

None of the tests in this thread have shown the issues we were commenting on a week ago. The error that was happening then has been resolved.

I am still seeing players with some individual issues, but these are unrelated to what this was created for. Like the related US thread, we fixed this a while ago. Sorry for not commenting on this sooner.

If you are still having problems with this you should start your own thread with a winMTR attached so we can investigate, but thus far all of these tests have been completely different from what this thread was about.
