I started 2338 and fell to 1700. Only stopped falling cause I switched to PC, who knows how far I would’ve fallen. Regardless, if you take more time to learn how to play you may be able to catch yourself, I feel as if that’s a somewhat fair buffer regardless.
Also, the highest I’ve seen someone place is 3500 ish. Within two more wins they were 3700
As much as I almost always disagree with Tactician, I doubt it’s a lie. He’ll make unthought arguments, but I’ve never seen him like.
I’ve fallen to 1532 when I was a low gold player, and I had to grind it out myself. When I was borderline diamond, I fell to 2300 due to major tilt. I earned back to 2700 in one day. It’s totally possible, sorry if your experience differs, but if you are bronze and think you are better, you aren’t.
Bronze is the one rank where you can literally decide you don’t want to be it anymore and get out. You have to try to not improve to stay there
Call bull all ya want. He was placed in the 3500’s and played 4 additional games (from what I recalled it was 2). I know he gained 70 SR from one win though
3720 after 14 games including placements is sufficient proof to disprove the fallacy that everyone is placed in Gold / Platinum - unless you’re suggesting that they climbed by 400-500 per win.
I placed in 1700s and fell to 600s and it’s not my first fps I’m just bad. I eventually climbed to diamond after 1300 hours or so. But even after all that time, I still don’t know how to spam “Let’s attack the objective”.
Pretty sure I played dva when I first got this game and fed my brains out. Placed gold like 2100 and all my teammates were pissed at me as I had no concept of team fights or ult economy. Actually I didn’t even know what an ult was until like level 50 lol. I just saw flashy lights blasting everywhere and had no idea who was doing it or why ha.
The OP is giving us an example of how some people can be placed in Gold for arbitrary reasons. Those people then proceed to drag others down because they cause them to lose games.
