Pink Mercy was $15 (a chat about skin cost in ow2)

Pink Mercy- a skin with unique features from head to toe, unique sounds ONLY heard if skin is equipped. (imo one of the most beautiful skins in the game but hey that’s just my opinion)
WAS 15 USD on release in 2018.
There is NO reason a legendary (that is just as old) should cost the equivalent of 19 USD (in ow coins) when it does not have those special touches that the pink mercy skin also had.
I believe that the pricing for the overwatch skins is honestly too heckin’ high.

pink mercy the bestest pink mercy the coolest there will never be a skin that beats it :heart_eyes:

It was always supposed to be $20 but since it was for charity they made it cheaper so that they helped the cause less, naturally.

pink mercy was a charity item. not even in the same conversation. you could make a 50 dollar skin and it would be ok if it was 100% all going to a charity.

but i agree legendarys should not be anymore than 5 or 7 dollars at most

And Noire Widow was $20, so?

… which accounted for a $60 (pre-purchase) - $40 (standard edition) = $20. There was only one skin granted for pre-purchase and that was Noire Widow.

Nope. It was simply for pre-ordering it. The base game was 40$ and the Origins Edition was 20$ and the prices continued to be like this after the game was released

> *Overwatch: Origins Edition* includes the following digital content:[[2]](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Overwatch:_Origins_Edition#cite_note-Game-2)
>
> * 25 [heroes](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Heroes)
> * 5 [skins](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Skins):
> * [Blackwatch](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Blackwatch) Reyes ([Reaper](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Reaper))
> * Strike-Commander Morrison ([Soldier: 76](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Soldier:_76))
> * Overgrown [Bastion](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Bastion)
> * Security Chief [Pharah](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Pharah)
> * [Slipstream](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Slipstream) [Tracer](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Tracer)
> * Overwatch-themed content for several Blizzard Entertainment games:
> * [Heroes of the Storm](https://heroesofthestorm.fandom.com/Heroes_of_the_Storm) - [Tracer](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Tracer) Hero
> * [World of Warcraft](https://wowpedia.fandom.com/World_of_Warcraft) - Baby [Winston](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Winston) Pet

> * [Hearthstone](https://hearthstone.fandom.com/Hearthstone:_Heroes_of_Warcraft) [card back](https://hearthstone.fandom.com/Card_back)
> * [Diablo III](https://diablo-archive.fandom.com/Diablo_III) - [Mercy](https://overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Mercy) Wings

Pre-purchase was $40.
I just looked it up, so you must be remembering something incorrectly.

If you’re referring to origins edition ($60) , you also got

  • 5 Origin Skins (Overgrown Bastion, Blackwatch Reyes, Slipstream Tracer, Strike-Commander Morrison, and Security Chief Pharah)
  • World of Warcraft – Baby Winston Pet
  • Diablo III – Mercy’s Wings
  • Hearthstone – Card Back
  • StarCraft II – In-game Portraits (Tracer, Reaper, Pharah, Winston, Bastion, and Soldier: 76)
  • Heroes of the Storm – Tracer Hero

But preorder for either of them included the noire widowmaker skin

It was free, just you had to pre order or get an early copy

You got the Noire skin even if you only paid for the $40 version as long as you preordered it. The thing was that the Standard edition was only available digitally.
The Origin edition was the $60 one that came with 5 Origin skins, some additions for other blizzard games, and the Noire skin if you preordered.
The Noire skin was free.
