so i was wondering if i gift her the pink mercy skin will she be able to redeem it when she gets a new computer. (june most likly)

Should just go straight onto their account and they’ll be able to claim it whenever they can. No need to worry about an expiration, though just to be safe might want to wait until the end of the event to buy it.

I think only Blizzard awarded gifts have a time limit. I’m pretty sure ones purchased by friends are limitless 
Especially when you look at it like, they’ve taken your money and your friend never received what was purchased. So I think to avoid that, items gifted to friends have no time limit

Even if she can’t they’re probably going to release it as a normal skin just like they did for the nexus challenges.
I highly doubt that. The nexus ones were released into normal loot because console players that had no PC couldn’t obtain them. With this skin, not only is it for charity, but you can get it regardless of platform.

Why cant more people like ye lot reply to my ideas about the game XD.
As long as she can log onto her account she can redeem it at any time. She just needs to access the Blizzard launcher, not any games, to do it.
