PING not appearing on PS4

It just doesn’t appears!
Even Latency and the other option appears but not the Ping.

turn on latency in settings how many times has jeff said this, at least 4

i also have this problem and everyone i play with also. its especially annoying for my mate cause he sometimes gets bad ping and lags for short periods .and its just annoying when he cant see his ping when this happens to be prepared.

latency is what you want now. is gonna be like 15-20 higher than ping. is normal

I find this weird because there is an option called: “Show Ping” above “Latency”.

But I guess that is :confused:

its been 3 weeks its getting annoying at this point

I always have the latency settings ON since Season 7.

Since the last update PING just disapeared but it seems that I have the answer now.

I think his point is simply why is there an option for Ping AND Latency? If they were changing the functionality of one to the other, then why not remove the old unused option?

Exactly this.

There is a Ping option that is still there and it triggers nothing so I was confused.

what is a ‘good’ latency now? I am between 65 and 69. Considering someone said that its going to be a value 20-35 higher than the ping

The Latency is not the same as the Ping. Latency =/= Ping. Please read the following.
Rather than report a less accurate and less stable ping, we opted to merge the ping and RTT stats into the single Latency figure you now see in Advanced Performance Stats. You can expect this Latency number to be 10-20ms more than the ping value we previously displayed (higher if your system isn’t hitting 60FPS consistently). The difference between your old Ping and the new Latency figure is purely due to the missing timestamps, and has no effect on your gameplay.

it doesn’t anymore, latency replaced ping. (makes no sense that the ping option still exists because turning it on/off does nothing)
