No thanks. I have multiple accounts, main, alt, 1trick and for fun.
Stop ruining people’s fun please.

What? I’m not in GM… I’m only Masters unfortunately. SR only matters in finding matches that are at my skill. I, along with the majority of other players, cannot play every hero to the same level. It’d be really unfair to my teammates if I played DPS on my main just as it would be unfair to play Support on my alt. Am I just supposed to only play Support for the rest of my days? Should I be required to grind for hours on DPS until it’s Masters in order to play Support again? I don’t understand why I should be required to only have one account if having multiple doesn’t hurt anyone else’s gameplay experience.
You do understand how dumb you are sounding right now, correct?
I think it’s a little unrealistic to believe that someone can be the same level of skill with every hero they want to play. If I want to play DPS, why should I screw over 5 other people in Masters with Platinum DPS play?
Yes they should.
The only ones against it are toxic smurfs.
There really is no reason not to have this feature.
One account for competitive, multiple accounts for whatever I guess. (having multiple accounts is a waste of money in my opinion)
The problem here is that you want your oppinion to be a rule that ruins the game for many people.
smurfs ruin the game for everyone.
Wanting to control that is a solution to a problem.
So, I don’t get to play widow without throwing?
Niceeee
an account you ”practice” with

Forget it. These guys cant differentiate smurfs from alts
Apparently not… Some of us just want to practice different heroes without being accused of throwing…
I feel like you keep ignoring facts on purpose?
What about people who don’t do this on their main in general? What about people who demand others swap? Aren’t they being selfish by telling someone else what to do?
If you’re playing a hero you don’t normally play, then it is going to be at a different rank.
For example, my main account (this one) used to be in Mid-Diamond because of my how I played Supports and Tanks.
My alt account is for DPS only and that account is in Platinum.
I maintain the same gamesense of course, but positioning and aiming end up being different.
See what I mean?
So I should have to know how to play all DPS/Tanks at my level to be able to “deserve it”? However I got to it, so long as I didn’t cheat, is deserving of my SR. If I get there on my own skill, that’s where I belong. You think people get high ranks by flexing? No, they do it by being good. Don’t play things you aren’t good with, you don’t have to play everything. Stop shoving this idiology down people’s throats. You don’t have good healers or tanks or DPS just by flexing
If they are doing this honestly then they are playing their best.
Most doing this are alts though, so moot point.
Want to list a few facts?
Or play qp with that hero? Still not a valid argument to say alts in competitive are worth it.
You don’t understand that you are hurting others gameplay experience? If even once you have thought “who cares it is my alt” then you are harming others.
There are other ways to practice outside of ruining games for others. Moot argument yet again.
Competitive currently isn’t competitive. By limiting accounts per person (somehow) the competitive game experience would improve for everyone. The matchmaker would improve drastically.
Just about everyone I see saying they can’t play something else are players who are silver-boarder+. And “Ruining” is subjective. By me not knowing how to play other heros, I am also “ruining” others games by not knowing it. Basically if you can’t play everyone at the same level, or know your limits and won’t play a class, you are “ruining” someone’s games.
Will not happen, they still need to make $, The SmS protect for guaranteed Top500 i think is more than a fair compensation, however it’s only a matter of time before people figure out they can grab secondary phone numbers off applications like GoDaddy-Smartline or any other pre-paid phone plan for a second phone number.
It is actually the biggest reason for alt accounts and it’s really simple: Competitive is a different environment than Quick Play will ever offer.
You don’t seem to understand that if someone is on an Alt Account, they are actively trying to win with a hero that they don’t play often, meaning it will most likely be at a lower rank than their main is.
It’s either that, or you’re confusing it with Smurf, but pick your choice! ![]()
