Recently been on Overwatch alot less and today i can finally download Phasmophobia and get spooked. If anybody has any tips for survival lemme know lol
I stopped playing overly spooky games when I stopped drinking all the time.
Nowadays, the scariest thing I can handle is Mei’s sadistic grinning face as she’s spraying my camera down with a fire hose.

I’ve no tips for that game, but I can say that proximity chat always makes for funny content
A lot of Phasmophobia players moved on to Demonologist. Which is basically just a better version.

Ahh yes the game that is almost defined as an asset flip. Demonologist i mean
Survival: turn off flashlight and don’t talk when hunts start. If you have an electronic device in your hand turn it off, swap to something that isn’t electronic, or throw it on the ground.
Most ghost types get faster the longer you’re in line of sight (there are 2 exceptions: thaye and hantu) so even if the ghost saw you go through a door during a hunt, it’s best to close it behind you so it can’t get faster as you try to move/run away (one exception there is a revenant which will move at its max speed up to the area where it last saw you).
You can see the range a crucifix prevents hunts in if you press f on the floor or a flat horizontal surface. Gives you an idea of where you should/shouldn’t stand when a hunt is starting if you’re bad with directional hearing/audio clues.
General gameplay: every ghost has a tell that you use to figure out it’s type without evidence. Learn those and the game is easier, but still interesting, engaging, and satisfying.

Good game. Lot of fun.
It’s still evolving though and the big progression updates and some evidence detection reworks are coming in June-ish so some things may change if you’re just now learning them.

Play it immersed and like a stealth/investigative game with friends and it is at it’s most fun.
Unlike Daemonologist, Phasmo has a LOT of content in it from countless giant maps to play around in. I think both are great, but Phasmo is really fun with friends and it feels like there is more to do with the equipement on hand. Also, it will be getting a really big update soon so having an eye on this game right now is a good idea.
