I don’t play much ranked at all but out of curiosity how much of a problem is pharmercy in the more common rank(s) like gold for example.
It was already a really bad situation on console. But tbh, Mercy is by far the worst support right now and she absolutely falls over vs Sombra.
Pharmercy (even just Pharah alone sometimes) has always dominated/ruined lower ranks and the usual argument against nerfing/reworking Pharah is that those players will struggle once they get to around Diamond rank where people have much better aim.
Pretty much spot on. Pharmercy dominates lower ranks and once you get into Diamond-ish territory you start to plateau. I main Pharah and while I don’t have to rely on Mercy as much with the self-heal and reworked abilities, I still find myself win trading now that I’m in low Diamond and it’s generally a struggle to climb ranks now.
