I only play a hero Pharah “counters” yet still agree with others that’s she’s complete trash and needs a buff. And also I play against highly competent Pharah/Pharahmercys. Well, when they run Pharahmercy. Widow by herself is 10 times more powerful and threatening than Pharamercy has been for a looonnggg time.
What if there isn’t a widowmaker? You just die to Pharmercy?
Yet DDing proved otherwise by smashing the best widows in OWL

What is weird to me is when people ask for nerfs, they say all the strengths in perfect conditions, why is it not the same for buffs? Pharah’s SHOULD learn to abuse angles, deny LOS, and play smart. That is what I saw from DDIngs gameplay. He doesn’t fly around spamming rockets with no reason.
Why shouldn’t someone need to take the time to learn all that, when people who play hard heroes like genji, df, wb, widow need to spend time mastering different mechanics and maps?
Yes, in the rare case there is a Pharamercy because most teams just run Widow instead because she’s many many times more deadly than Pharahmercy and she doesn’t need assistance to be so.

There are ways to buff Pharah that would not benefit Pharmercy.
I mean after watching the Stage 3 Finals today… no. And especially on console please no… she’s fine. Yeah barrage can get you killed. But she is just fine.
Any buff to Pharah would benefit Pharmercy.
Or maybe not, but i’m pretty sure any buff to pharah would benefit
