It’s funny seeing Pharah trying to reach the point and being taken in seconds by Sombra as she falls like a duck. And the whole team jumps at her. It’s so effective and easy to kill her now. Soldier and Mccree and Widow and even D.va don’t even need to focus her all the time anymore. Moira can also drain her 200hp easily if she gets close to the point.
I have seen people throwing with her already this season.
“oh man my jump jets are gone all i have is this 120 damage rocket launcher that can 2 shot any 200hp hero” useless no weaker yes there not the same thing
The amount of times I’ve turned a corner as any character and instantly died, without seeing what hit me sometimes is staggering.
Heaven forbid Pharah occasionally has the same problem.
If people are throwing, that’s on them, not the character.
Now? It’s been useless for years. The only hero in the game that can not be played without constant healer pocketing. Any top level player picking Pharah gets weird looks.
SO TRUE. Above diamond she constantly needs Mercy she rely in another hero all the time. And the healers we have now can barely touch her.

you understand that literally when theres pharah you need hitscans, every competitive team hires hitscans because literally If you dont have hitscans, Pharah destroys you faster than you think, she is incredibly strong specially when theres a mercy, If Pharah was useless nobody would pick hitscan to counter her anymore, and the world would be happier, but no
Pharah has never needed an entire team to counter her. Sombra doesn’t completely counter her either unless the Pharah is a vegetable.
The times when Pharah was strong have gone by. She has way way more counter now. Widowmaker is a strong counter in high tiers. Soldier and Mccree and D.va with rockets and Moira without mentioning Zenny and Ana and now a hero that disables her flying. When you play as Pharah you need to constantly use your conclusive to try to evade of all these counters. People saying Pharah still can shoot. YEAH she does but do you think sombra will hack her and finish the job? As soon she drops in the floor everyone jumps at her. Also let’s not forget she is 200 up hero.
