Pharah, which in comp i ALWAYS pick as No1 ban is ruining Overwatch for me as Support (mostly) but also as dps. As Tank also but at least im not dying.
I always pick her No1 in bans, although most ppl don’t ban pick her. And she can play. Also my lobbies are full of her in QP.
She is terrorizing my ranks (~silver). As tank ppl tell to pick D.va (although sometimes she is banned). I don’t know which other Tank can counter her. We need more Tanks that can interract with flying heroes. Mauga i guess can a bit.
As Dps people say hitscan. My aim is really mediocre and due to a condition i have, dyspraxia, i just CAN’T take her down. It feels impossible. I used vaxta for hours and hours but i just can’t seem to improve. Actually i see my aiming becomes worse as the years pass. I Can’t counter to save my life and usually the other dps would be like Mei, Genji, Reaper etc. New pharah also is much more annoying with quicker rockets, she doesn’t even let you breathe.
As support im also hopeless. This hero is really give that hopelessness feeling. A dreadful experience.
I kill her as mercy.
I use the crouch ga to get up in the sky, circle her from left to right while shooting her.
Look at a teammate again and repeat.
Most pharahs also float close enough most of the time for moira to kill her.
That’s how i deal with her, it’s difficult, but all that i can reliably do by myself.
Yeah i hate dealing with her. I wished i was good at Ashe but i hate looking at scopes.
If you’re struggling with Pharah on support, give Juno a try. Her torpedoes are homing and if the Pharah isn’t using cover properly, should be a free hit
When I’m on tank I usually ignore her at first and hope that my teammates will deal with her. If they can’t, then I swap to D.va/Orisa/Ramattra/Mauga.
On support I usually either go ana/bap/illari/juno. Sometimes even zen works too if their pharah isn’t focusing on you.
She falls off once you get better at the game and will no longer be a problem
Ban Mercy and then Pharah won’t likely be picked. I hate Pharah
Pharah is pretty strong even without Mercy. With her perk that lets her move in ult. She is even stronger.
True, I don’t know if it had to do with how frequent Mercy was banned in my games, but I don’t remember seeing Pharah in one game out of 25 or so games this weekend. Good times. Console Master/GM
I love playing against Pharah as a support especially. Baptiste, Illari, Kiriko, and Ana are all great options into her. Pharah has a lot of mobility, but her hitbox is massive and she doesn’t have any sustain.
Even if you don’t want to take her on directly, Mercy is a good option to enable whoever does.
Pharrah naturally counters like half the roster and requires a swap, people in silver likely just aren’t swapping.
Ana/Ashe/Cassidy/Widow can make ez work of her but sometimes you have the sombra/tracer duo or something like that they can’t even contest her and she ruins your entire back line for free without even getting shot at.
The shield health one is better though. Makes her less reliant on supports, half of which have trouble healing her effectively.
Sombra and Tracer can wreck Pharah, though. That’s infinitely better then Junkrat and Symmetra which basically requires both of them to be (good) one tricks.
Yeah fair, likely more an issue of tracer and sombra being on their backline while their pharrah is on our backline being more of the issue in that case.

I love shooting her out of the sky with Ana/widow/sojourn/soldier/cas pretty much any dips with a gun that I can half a$$ play lmao

My coolest anti-air moment was landing a clean burst of Genji’s primary, slashing up to her and drifting just a bit lower before hitting deflect and watching her commit seppuku. 
Oh thats smexy… My coolest one was when I hooker her butt with hog in mystery heros and she fell down the hole
With heroes like Ashe and Cassidy in game shooting missiles larger then Pharah, shes an easy flying target for them. Swap to a hero that can take her out easily.

I’ve killed a few things out of the air by deflecting as genji.
I once got a mercy because a widow mistimed her shooting at me.
And i javelined a pharah out of the air (still as genji)
But i can’t reach my sibling’s deflect glory. It was in ow1. They deflected a hanzo ult back at him. The cool part was that the hanzo died due to being headshotted by the ult arrow. Not because of the ensuing dragon XD
My best deflect with genji that I can remember was when I deflected Illari’s ult back at her and her team. Best feeling… And i can’t play genji to save my life. So that was a win for me lol
