Hello, I decided to create another topic for anyone who has recently been banned because of cheating or has anything from the Razer company, like the software “Razer Synapse”. You can just write here if you have been banned and I think it would be helpful to see how many people are having this problem right now.
I have a dongle bundle and use the Razer Synapse application to control the Hz on my mouse. I’ve been using it for a year since June last year and there hasn’t been any problem. What should we do if using that app is cheating when nobody has mentioned it before by Blizzard`s company?
Don’t use macros and you’ll be fine. Plenty of people have posted here about using synapse for years with no problems. Every single person that has been banned is using it in an “illegal” way.
I used only the default settings, like changing the profiles with my sensitivity and Hz. Then, I think, I need to keep sending tickets and asking them to tell me exactly what they have found, so that I can understand the cause.
More or less Blizzard should have taken the road to warnings. But instead they want to gain attention from Video game press companies because bad publicity regardless is publicity.
So they take a massive approach to this. By the whole unfair no-notice bans.
Instead, what this does do is incentivize hackers to attack Blizzard’s systems and do all that DDoS nonsense and sets us up for another round of outtages.
My biggest fear is, one of these days they will make the wrong person mad and they will end up wiping out all of blizzard, including our accounts, progress and stuff. To me, losing all of that progress would be painful.
But I know that there are people out there that are that determined, if someone made them mad enough. We’d see an end of the World… of Warcraft as we know it.
ANd yes, I fully agree that they have a good reason to not allow this in their game. but the approach is wrong.
They are not going to answer that question, by the way. Malicious cheaters obviously want to know what flagged the system which will let them circumvent future problems. It’s all a S E C R E T.

It sounds reasonable. Good luck to everyone who has faced this recently I guess.

It’s not all bad news Bears. There is a nice precedent where Blizzard typically unbans all of the false positives once they actually figure out it is happening. They are a bit slow… But it should happen if this is genuinely a Razor blade issue.
I hope so. Even if I am lucky one day, as a mainer on a soldier, I have already missed out on the Gundam bundle, and as a widow main, I will also miss out on Street Fighter. Life is pain lol
