Got 3 different warnings. Yeah, I’ve defended myself against toxic players and have gotten silenced as a result.

You make the claim then it’s on you to provide evidence supporting your claim, not for others to disprove you.
And from reading your post history, Blizzard doesn’t share your definition of “throwing.” Blizzard isn’t ignoring throwers, they’re ignoring your false reports.

I have never seen anyone ever complain about getting banned for throwing games. Thats how I know. I constantly see people complain on here about getting banned for being “toxic”.
Thats all the proof I need.

Dafran got banned for one-tricking Torb recently. That’s definitely throwing, and he got punished.

Throwing requires intent, anyone banned knows bans are a possibility and accepts it when it happens. That’s why they’re not here posting about it.
People who whine about being punished for being toxic denies being toxic, so its expected for them to complain. OP is one of the few that acknowledges their own behavior. It’s sampling bias.

You arent in the same games that I’m in. It happens quite often. Throwing with the mix of toxic people with racist and homophobic slurs. I’m relieved when i dont have to report someone. I dont false report. The amount of posts on these boards also shows the state of this game. Its quite sad. Its such a beautiful game and the people are ruining it. You can White Knight it all you want but it wont change the state of it. Popular Youtubers are constantly complaining and trying to post positive videos on how to make it fun again. All I want is the game to be played the way its intended to be played. As a team game. Blizzard knows how to save it. I feel they are just being lazy.

Trust me when I say I know where your frustration comes from. I’ve been playing from beta, so I’ve seen this game’s ups and downs time and again over the few years its been out. The never-ending hordes of pubs that just will not cooperate to form a proper team. The incessant toxicity of certain people, and whether or not they are justified in complaining.
Overwatch IS a beautiful game, like you said. It deserves every award it has received. But the real issue is the mentality of the majority of players. The masses that just don’t care about others. No matter what Jeff or his team does, these people bring suffering to others, because they just don’t care.
Unfortunately, Overwatch is a team game at its core. A game that requires synergy between people. Communication. But no game has ever perfected that genre. Because it depends on the players themselves. Dota, LoL, CsGO, TF2, the list goes on. And thats the reality. Games like these will always be filled with pubs who won’t listen, won’t help, because thats humanity.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. You want my advice? Take a break. Come back then. Its no good to stay frustrated. Go away, smell the flowers, and maybe return when you’re feeling better. In the end, never give in to the toxic people. When you get mad, they win.

The most hilarious thing about all of this is that they’re quicker and more effective at banning toxic chat than actual throwers, boosters, etc. I swear OW players are probably the only group who shouldn’t have been surprised when they unveiled Diablo Immortal and revealed how out of touch they are.

Don’t defend yourself by spewing insults back, just calmly destroy their arguments with logic and report them. You win the argument AND they get punished.
