I’ve been having performance issues on PC since the recent update. My monitor’s refresh rate is 75hz and up until playing today I would achieve 75fps in-game. After this recent update, my frames are much more like 30-40 for some reason, usually when a lot is happening on screen (like a lot of effects, or a lot of deaths/ragdolls), but also just frequently during gameplay.
I’ve tried checking for missing files, updating my drivers, restarting my PC, allowing Nvidia to set my graphics for me, setting graphics to low (Which resulted in the exact same performance as I’m having on High), and resetting my internet connection (I saw some articles saying Latency could be an issue, and I was having 200+ latency, but I now have just 40 latency with no difference in performance.) None of these have helped or fixed the issue.
This is only happening with Overwatch. I have launched other far more demanding games and can get the 1080p 75fps I’m going for without issue. Can anyone help?
