double sniper is very possible

also notice how sombra is in almost every game

SOMBRA is currently just used as a tank substitute

  • In GOATS she is used as a sub for D.Va
  • In Bunker she is used as a sub for Roadhog

I feel like her pickrate will decrease with 2 tanks

Of course snipers will be picked because you cant rely on projectile heroes to do anything except when Genji gets Nano bladed

EMP’s casttime is ludicrously fast and makes it basically uncounterable. I’m not that surprised.

sombra has been used in 2-2-2 several times though

i wouldn’t be surprised if she’s used whenever double sniper isn’t applicable (koth, some 2cps)

Hitscan/Snipers > Projectiles

We’re likely never gonna see Junk/Genji/Torb until either hitscans get nerfed, or projectiles get buffed. And all people do on Genji is go spammy spammy to get that ulti.

Assuming we are still talking about OWL here, other than sombra pharah is the most picked dps. She is projectile.

She will probably be used on anti-sniper maps, like… oh wait that’s right, there are none.

Pharah might be seeing a lot of play because Pharmercy can do a lot to GOATS. When snipers are in play, down goes Pharah.

Snipers are good, but they come up short on koth maps…which incidentally is where pharah usually excells. With brig being what she is, I wouldn’t be surprised to see dive being run on those maps.

Fair enough, also one of snipers you keep mentioning is projectile. Plus the only good hitscan in owl currently is widow. We rarely ever see solider, mccree, or ashe.

That’s true, but he is one of the most damaging and fastest projectile heroes. Outside of maybe Genji

pharah’s total season 1 pickrate is 11.6% (11th best pickrate), which isn’t really terrible given the dominance of widow (and hanzo in playoffs)

new mccree is adding a new variable, and i’m sure he’ll be used on maps like eichenwalde where pharah ca play out of her los
i don’t think she’ll be in danger next season tbh

Fun part is that it’s pretty much Double snipers 2.0

EMP to remove barriers, Halt to pull them in and Dragonstrike to tear through them. Throw an antinade into the mix and you’ve got a near guaranteed team wipe.

Don’t forget the Halt-Hook combo, or the Halt-Widow combo, or the Halt-Dragonstrike combo, or the Halt-nade combo. Who knew Orisa having a mini-grav would be so useful

I wouldn’t say min grav as she has more control over pulling them together and can trigger in mid air.

Makes you wonder what kind of counter comps people will try to run? :thinking: I’m guessing Immortality field might be getting some more spotlight with the more instant kill potential, however with Sombra being ran it’s effectiveness will be negligible.

Baptiste will probably be run on certain maps, but I mostly expect to see Ana, Mercy, and some Zen.
