Because they’re all pretty fun to play in DM. Besides, Moira and Brigitte are the spiders that eat Tracer and Genji.

I just played as D.Va for DM because I was mad and I can tell you why. She bullies everyone except other D.Vas.
Just kidding, she bullies other D.Vas too.
No squishy can survive the Korean Kombo and you have so much health. Also fi they magically Demech you, they have t hope they still have enough health to not get chipped to death by baby D.Va
I never play Deathmatch. But once in a blue moon when I do, I play D.Va.
Why? I have 1100 hours on her in other modes and I intend to play who I’m best with.
Probably because they’re the seemingly few people who don’t view this ARCADE mode as a super-srs DPS festival
It is possible to pick other heroes in FFA besides Genji/McCree/Hanzo/Tracer, and playing said other heroes actually makes Moira/Brigitte/Dva less of a problem

Ehhhh.
Yeah, I can understand that. I just mostly play DM to get better at DPS, a class I’m sorely lacking it. I don’t play my tanks or my supports there, because unless I pick Roadhog, Lucio, or Zenyatta there, I’m picking up practice that it useless to that role. Why should I need to know how to duel a McCree or Widow as Reinhardt? Another thing, there’s very little space to improve these characters in duels. As D.Va you hit em with the Korean Kombo and boom they’re IN THA GROUND, but what can be improved? Who cares, you killed them. Nothing NEEDS to be improved if you kill them. Same thing with walk up shield bash, BONK, boop BONK BONK with Brigitte. But as you said, not everyone’s here to improve. Some people just wanna crash mechs into several people and look at the pretty blood splatters on the wall.
I play D.va because I find her fun, and I love when people cry about it.
Tanks are my favorite to play so I take the fat assassin and wreck faces.

I usually chose Moira for King’s Row or Chateau. There are a lot of hallways and tight places that the orbs can bounce around and cause havoc.
I’d take those over Hog and Junkrat tbh
Just do what I do and always pick Torb

Nobody can tell you to switch in FFA. That said, if you pick these heroes in FFA, I’m going to make your life very hard with the beep boop murder bot.

This is probably the only time where I’m gonna say “JUST CLICK ON THEIR HEADS LOOOOOOOOOOL 4Head” in a serious fashion. As someone who exclusive plays Hanzo in DM, I have a tough time for sure with the Genjis and Tracer running around, but I’m getting to the point where I can force rewind, bait deflect, and even headshot occasionally.
If you pick the following in FFAs: D.Va, Roadhog, Winston, Junkrat, Orisa, Zarya or Brigette.
Just stop, it’s not fun for anyone.

You know I do not get why people in Deathmatch whine so much. If you actually used it as a learning tool then you would actually get better at fighting the heroes that annoy you so much.
Instead I see you folks get into Deathmatch chat, whine about how I am a no skilled no brain player for playing Moira or Brigitte or whatever you deem that as. I can play DPS but it bores me.
Stop taking an Arcade mode so seriously. I just want lootboxes, not to be complained at because people keep thinking this game is Counter Strike.
