They are the same people that argues Moira is balanced now. I guess people just think it is okay for support heroes to be overpowered, and to a degree any other heroes that is popular on this forum, ie heroes that don’t need much aim.

Easy, go to comp, play her for a good 10 hours, then switch to any other hero, and play it for another 10hours, then you will see
That’s personal anecdotes, not statistical data, which makes it inadmissible to the point of your conversation.
You literally don’t know what you’re talking about beyond a personal bias for Moira.
Just in case you were wondering, I was against the Mercy meta, but I’m fine with Moira because you can counterplay against her if you don’t just try to 1v1 her. Moira will always punish you if you go out of position.
So, care to elaborate on why Moira is so broken yet?

We really didnt see that many Mercy wasnt OP threads.
We saw a lot of Mercy nerfs were silly and gutted her into a no fun allowed character threads.

Pre rework Mercy was not OP. She was very tilting, yes, but not OP. There was a meme strat that went against her design, yes, but not OP.
Moira is also not OP, she’s just not UP.

Moira isn’t OP, you just don’t know how to deal with her.
She might be strong in 1v1s since she out-sustain most squishes, but force her into a team fight and you’ll find her not so threatening, unless she pulls out her ult and starts smacking everyone with it.

That’s a loaded question. It’s kind of relative.
Support can be underwhelming in offense and defense. They are often fodder for flankers and easily picked off if singled out. Mercy is good example, popular/top heavy in support. Low pick rate in in deathmatch, unlimited, duels, ctf due to poor offense/defense.
Moira has moderate dps and heals, but can gas out as for balance. Moira is one of the few support characters that’s good against flankers.
If people feel that it’s off limits for HEALERS to do moderate DPS along with heals. Then it should also be off limits for DPS or TANKS to do moderate self heals. You can’t have it both ways, with double standards.
When Ana Nano got nerfed, Mercy became popular, when Mercy got nerfed, then Moira became top Pick. No more support nerf witch hunt please.

I though Mercy was OP, and Moira is balanced. If Moira was OP we would see her in every game and we dont
edit: if we start seeing Moira in every game or disproportionally outperforming in every game she is in, I will change my PoV. Just throwing it out there

Moira is not OP, she is situational. You use her in open air maps, you will fail to use her efficiently. Her balls will bounce into the sky and be useless. Unless you use her with tanks and reaper, you have no chance of using her efficiently on ever map. She might have great range, but that is useless really, she is better in CQC tight rooms where her balls bounce around her, either damaging or healing and using the whole ball to it’s full effect.

I get that, in the context of say, a Genji or a Tracer, Moira seems broken since their job mostly consists of being the backline, where Moira dwells, who can deal with them effectively. Even flanking Junkrats will experience this.
But most other dps/tanks/supports don’t see it that way. If you’re getting scorched by a Moira on anything other than those two (which OP falls into), you’re positioning poorly or playing like a madman.
I literally can’t see a reason why he’d think that, at all.
You don’t need to kill a hero to counter them, just prevent them from doing their job. If you push a Moira to run away, she can’t heal since she’ll need close proximity to do it.
And if orbs are giving you trouble, you should just run a D.Va to counter it.
Besides that, OP literally hasn’t defended his position once. He’s just said “Moira is OP, go play her you’ll see.”

What exactly will I see? That my skill level is the same on Moira as it is on Zenyatta, or Zarya, or Dva? Or that it’s still the same on Soldier or Literally Any Other Hero I Play Consistently?
People that said mercy wasn’t OP got downvoted, most people didn’t agree. The opposite is true with Moira.
Well Moira heals just as much as Mercy did BUT you add a lot of damage to that. Balanced I guess. It’s not Mercy, so it’s balanced. If Moira was called Mercy, she’d be imbalanced.
