How fast does a hero build their perk. Maybe moira and junkrat perks are weaker cuz they get them way faster than tracer.
First perk unlock advantage is very relevant

Definitely a lot we don’t know, though I do understand that people who like a hero and go “they get cool things why don’t I get cool things” because perks are definitely not created equal.
Some perks I genuinely don’t think will ever get picked
And devs have said they plan to tweak the system and change things etc. so it’s kind of just an extra balancing knob. Definitely a very rough system but it’s a good idea for the future of the game imo
Ur right, i shouldnt complain bout a perk that makes a useless ability still useless but deploys a step or 2 farther away than before or one that reduces ult dmg cause i can get them faster
Sure, that’s a detail that we don’t have yet and could be relevant. At the same time, though: does anyone want to get naff, uninspired perks at all, regardless of how quickly they come online?
Imagine if there was an ult that caused your character’s next shot to do +10% extra damage
. It could be up extremely often, but it wouldn’t matter: no-one would like it because it’s so dull and uninspired.
Thing is - Moira even with her “perk” still won’t hold a candle to Ana without any perks. And many others are like that too.
It’s definitely concerning that Ana’s minor perk essentially lets her double her nade, by far the most powerful of her abilities and Moiras major perk is basically “DPS orb gets the DPS passive”.
+50 damage/healing, not the anti
Actually… I’d probably like that one.
Because it’s just more damage, right?
It’s better than +10% movement speed, -50% damage on an ult like R.I.P Tire, right?
Here is the problem, blizzard is not known to be fast. Imagine someone was a ram main before s9 and s9 took almost took all ram’s lethality, and it took them 5 months to finally give his 4 punch kill back while other tanks like rein and winston directly got damage compsenation in s9. How would this person feel?
It feels bad even the devs claim they will tweak the system because it could be a long time until they finally do it. Waiting for month while your favorite heroes being trash and hoping the devs would do something is not a good experience.
Kinda true. It’s a bit hard for me to speak on that because I like a lot of the heroes, and play the same hero or small handful of heroes on repeat until I get bored or they get changed in a way that’s not longer fun to me, and then play another handful
S11 and 12 basically killed my enjoyment of sigma (who was basically the only tank I liked playing) so it’s been 4-5 months since I’ve found the hero much fun which is a shame, but also in that time I’ve grown to really like mauga. Sombras recent rework made her less fun so I’ve been playing a lot more mei. And not everyone will be like that; some people just really like 1 hero and that’s kinda it so that sucks
They have gotten better over time… I think? Heroes aren’t left in the dumpster for almost a year like hog was at least. I guess we’ll see what happens
There’s some clear hero favoritism in the perk system. The powerful and popular heroes got perks that make them more powerful or give them new abilities. Less popular heroes got perks that are highly situational or don’t actually help.
Junkrat, who absolutely hated by the dev team, got perks that actively hinder him. And yes, they do hate him. It been obvious by the changes they’ve forced on him over the years.
Dude why u bringing tire into this?poor junk has it hard enough as is
What u mean they hate him?they gave him 5 dmg buff on his primary after season 9(maybe it was season 10?) how can u look at that GIGA buff and think that?
And did u see the trap perk?dude is gon be banned so hard in comp cause no one wants to be trapped and that perk is op
